I’ve seen some great looking Low Rider’s with the FXRT but for the budget and install headaches I’m going with the ST fairing. I regretted not stepping up to the ST 10 minutes into a highway ride from the dealer. 😂 Glad I could keep my S, save money and avoid those clamshells. Keep my nice gauge too!

Having rode bothFXLRST and a FXLR with a Klockwerks FXRP fairing extensively. I personally prefer the fxrp, performance and comfort is way better.

I went with OEM ST from Harley for my 22’ FXLRS it was about 2200 bucks (came painted from HD) Advan’s deal is killer!!! Klock werks for buffeting and you’re all set.

Amazing video comparison, you explained & covered all there’s to know about these two fairings, I saw how much work you put into installing your fairing and this new Advanblack ST fairing is a no brainer and a money saver in all aspects, and in my opinion it looks way better than the others fairings that I call the bubble fairings

If you keep scrolling down on the Advanblack pictures you are actually able to see a shot of the inner fairing. Enjoy!

This would be a no brainer....Avanblack is the way to go👍,...

Klock Werks kit has multiple bike fitment option, and includes everything you need in one box to mount it on your bike except the actual headlight. Comes with the spring bucket for a 7” headlight, and a 9” klock Werks windshield.

ST fairing is all right, but if you gonna go, go with FXRT fairing. Hands down!

It's double the price so there is that.

I think st is best bang for buck .. a painter told me all fxrt fairings are really built bad .. he usually does a ton of prep work before paint . I’ve heard advan products come out pretty good from production … they even have a solid T sport fairing option that’s decently priced ..

I’m going to be that guy, there should not exist a universe where a hunk of plastic or fiberglass should cost 1500 to 2000 bucks especially when I’m laying down 20 plus thousand on a bike to start with
@drainmonkeys3859 ай бұрын
Well, if yo buy a bike without one. And want one, how much should it cost? Lol

I heard advanblack used to do a fxrp fairing but they NO longer do!

I don’t remember ever seeing a fxrt from them, but I believe they did or do have other fairing options

Just need a road glide and all fairing issues are gone! Send it!

I want one, but I already have my frame mounted fairing.

Hello, I have a 2020 Fxlrs with stock risers, with the FXRP/T fairing what is the minimum height of the risers?
@InfamousCreep2 ай бұрын
With stock bars, I'd say 8 inches, but you'll need to relocate the turn signals. You'll need 10 inch risers to keep the turn signals on your bars, but they won't be visible.

It all ends up being preference. IMO, there's no comparison with the Klock Werks. Now, let's talk about wind protection and weight. Klock Werks is carbon fiber.
@InfamousCreep Жыл бұрын
It’s not Carbon Fiber, it’s “polyester primed” fiberglass. Carbon Fiber isn’t that much lighter than fiberglass, but it’s definitely stronger.

Klock Werks fairing is fiberglass and the whole kit in the box is under 40 pounds.

Main reason im going do st over the rp/rt is cause its abs plastic. If the rp/rt came with abs plastic i would get one i just hate fiber glass haha. even back in the days the fiber glass lips was the cheap stuff and they tend to get more rock chips think cause the material it is.
@vmotobiker Жыл бұрын
It's carbon fiber 😂

@@vmotobiker Only in a couple of brands and the currently offered CF FXR fairings sit lower on the bike, giving less protection to bigger riders.

Do the st fairings have an early model dyna option?
@InfamousCreep9 ай бұрын
They do, but it’s probably not available yet. Check their website, I know the sportster option isn’t available yet too

Great vid bro, I just don’t see spending 4-6k and beyond. I would probably trade my bike in or sell it & buy accordingly. Thanks!

If someone is charging you $2k to paint a fairing a single color, you need to find a different painter.
@vmotobiker Жыл бұрын
Klock is 3 to 5 lbs carbon fiber come on brother. You can definitely tell what side you're leaning on😂

Klock Werks is carbon fiber!?! Is it??
@InfamousCreep Жыл бұрын
I just looked it up, it’s fiberglass. My FXRT fairing weighs in at about 19 lbs with the bracket, Klock Werks most be using next gen stuff to keep it under 5lbs 🤷
