@@SteveGilson awesome! Just live your channel! Great content.. using your 3nps videos I'm comfortable playing through all 7 shapes.. I want to be able to slide into and move between those shapes.. I can't see a "pattern" so to speak.. it's the final piece to my puzzle haha

I seem to notice your picking hand apparently wasn't actually picking all the notes, are you using the fingering hand to provide the notes.

Yes, that's correct. I'm using a technique called Legato (or Hammer On's and Pull Off's) Typically you pick the first note then let the left hand play the remaining notes.
