We had a our carpets cleaned by a big named brand and we have rented out a carpet cleaner once and they left our carpets soaking wet and it didnt even look like they cleaned it. Looked exactly the same. We rented a carpet cleaner from our local store and did it ourselves cane out better than the “big named brand” wasted money. Drying carpets is Essential to getting a good look. I used to detail cars for a living... You have to do dry passes. Soaking a carpet will just make it smell bad. That company obviously didn't know what they were doing.

I had my own cleaning business for over 10 years. Nobody could understand why I always said it was the best job in the world. It was mostly private homes and end of lease cleans. The satisfaction I got from cleaning was really good. I always said cleaning was my therapy, I'd go in ...clean...go home....and forget it. I had been a teacher previously but even though I loved working with kids, there was stress and more work to do when I got home. With cleaning there was none of that.

When watching all the use of carpets in houses (instead of hardwood, vinyl, tiles or whatever), and how they look, no wonder many people have asthma. Carpets are like rain forests for fungus, mite, microbes and dust, particularly if their owners don’t bother cleaning them too much and/or are wearing street/work shoes indoors (imagine all the dogpee, dirt, grease, spit, gum and whatnot the soles of shoes have stepped in...) 🤢. One of the bigger issues when cleaning carpet is people who are always barefoot. The oils from you skin quickly absorb into the fibers and cause soil buildup. Shoes are bad, but so is going barefoot. Everything has their ups and downs.

Period! lol I learned my lesson when I hired a carpet cleaning Co to clean my carpet , but there were still some spots left behind so I figured they knew best and that it would be impossible to get them totally clean/spot free. But I couldn't stand them anymore, so I got down on my hands and knees and cleaned them by hand and EVERY ONE OF THEM came clean!! A little more dedication, cleaner and a few more passes and that guy would have left my carpet totally clean and ME a lot happier with him! Lesson learned. There is ALWAYS a product that will get ...fill in the blank...totally OUT of a carpet..you just need to know what product that is. :)
