Last week I introduced the concept of playing fast fingerpicked lead lines using the Tremolo technique. This week I develop on that idea and show exercises to turn this approach into an unconscious motor skill.

I've played a lot of classical guitar, but I always had trouble adapting these techniques to electric. I can't get over the differences in the feel of plucking the string on electric vs nylon or the different string tension. lol Have you ever thought about doing some lessons with a nylon string guitar? It'd be cool to hear. Maybe even some of the old Spanish standards.

+Brian Bard Hi Brian, You're right there are big differences between the feel of the two instruments so for example I would never use this technique on the classical guitar in this way, You just don't get the same quality of note that you get using apoyando. Good idea about some lessons using the Classical guitar, I'll give it some thought.
