for c) at 18:56 I’m a bit confused Isn’t theta an acute angle? What are we solving for? Wasn’t theta the angle inside the triangle previously

Yes but the question wants to know what the angle is and to do that you need to think of the principal angle. You would never describe the angle as a negative angle.
