So, as a Leather worker I'm wondering what's advanced about this quiver, I see uneven cuts on the strapping, holes too big for the thread used and possibly uneven thread tension. The edges are also unfinished and unsealed. I'm familiar with the absolute art pieces put out by Nomadic arts, that guy does amazing work.

I guess the advanced is not aimed towards perfect finish, sure some can do that better. Its more aimed towards usability I guess

@@KhanSeb Thanks. I think 100 bucks is the most it could sell for, it's my personal taste in that its simple and functional but as a leather worker I notice the areas that haven't received as much attention as they should.

When you said "minimalistic" I understood as 'zennish', so you surely studied a book Zen in the Art of Archery, by Eugen Herrigel. Classic must for enthusiastic asiatic archers. 😎

Thank you for the referral, very kind of you. If I'm getting by with Eastern quiver fir $150, than he is definitely overcharging for this quiver. Perhaps they should hire me to design quiver fir them that anyone can assemble. It looks bad on rest of their products, this is definitely low end quality. Who's to say it is actually top grain leather rather than bonded leather. They're putting their reputation on line with such products.

@ I tend to see it in relation to the bow price. a yarha is 180? bucks I will have a hard time to pay then whatever 400 or 700 for a quiver. If I would go full in, with composite Manchu bow, full set of clothes and so on, yes its different.

This manchu style of stringing is an absolute deal breaker for me. It's safer and make stringing of heavier bows possible than I can even draw instead the other way around with "regular" step thru method. 80 pound manchu absolute no problem, 60 pound longbow absolute pain, 120 pound longbow like hitting a wall without stringer.
