15:07 subcooling will be LOW on a low charge. Think: less refrigerant in system = less refrigerant backing up in the condenser coil. The opposite is true for overcharge.

I loved your video thanks for your time, when the system undercharge normally you would have high superheat and low subcool, arent subcool and superheat are opposite temp in case of high and low charge system.

Storytime.. so i was charging an old deep freeze ice cream freezer in a customers house.. i guess i should have thrown a flag it being a semi stocked dedicated ice cream freezer but it was late and it just needed a new compressor. So i was charging the system and using digital scales, vapor charging.. but got a phone call from the better half and stepped out for about 2 mins and when i walked back in my damn can was sitting on the ground still charging and the scales were gone... so i got confused at first thinking if there was a dog around but nope.. so i walk over to the family room area and wouldnt you know there they are on the coffee table.. with a brick of what im pretty sure was cocaine.. im talking bigger than a red brick for houses.. and there were 4 more sitting beside it... i didnt mean to but i let out a "holy.." and didnt even see the 3 guys sitting around it counting cash.. the owner of the house looked over and said "i put a thousand dollars in your tool bag, sorry i needed to weigh something. ". I said oh no problem i was just wondering where they walked off to.. freezer is charged and working now though, damage is 400 even. You can mail me the check or pay online..". He said ok, i went and got my stuff, over harged the hell outta the freezer but i was barely holding the shit in my pants... so threw everything in my bag snatched up the tank and skirted for the door and dude came up behind me and said hey come here .. so turned around and dude put another thousand in my titty pocket.. said " i know you and where you sleep, you have a nice family, enjoy your nice and quiet life". I said i understand pal, enjoy your cocaine and ice cream.. dude laughed and i did too walking out the door.. scared the dogshit outta me and went home and grabbed my kid and woman.. moral is , well i dunno any moral, i got 2 grand for 300$ worth of materials and scales.. 1700$ for an hour and a half with a story to go with it that shoulda been in a movie.. hell of a day..

7:40 diagram seems wrong, the suction port should be after evaporator not before. that is why you cannot pour in liquid because it will flood compressor and cause it lock up.

i had no superheat on my ac pumped it down took the line off at the coil and nobody ever installed a piston this ran like this for 9 years

Does not refrigerant tank has one-way valve that the compressor can not pressurize the tank but it would stop the refrigerant charge

Yes, but VERY slowly , you do not want to put a large amount of liquid refrigerant into the compressor. Also, do not do it unless the compressor is running and the system is not in a vacuum. If system is still in a vacuum charge on the high side as a liquid.

@@cmolnar65 A pump that has low/high side need to be filled with liquid R404A need the system to be off, so better filling on the high side then low side, becuse the system need to be off. you cannot fill with liquid in the suction (low side) when the system is off. 1,8 Kilo luquis in this case. the problem here is the i have tvo ports, one low and one high bot pipes are pointed so de liquid will go to the compressoer, bot line har pointed så liquid will run to the compressor on both side. the ports har above the compressor. In this case a water/heating pump with copeland scroll.
