universal gear is crucial. same radios = same radio battery, same aeg = same mag types. that way you can share stuff. we have a list of gear, 8 mags, 2 he, 1 smoke, as example. so everybody knows that your buddy has same that you have

Great stuff as usual Man! I just got back from IronHorse 4 at The Guardian Centers. We had a fairly large Squad of 14 players that eventually got split up into two fire teams and then the other guys who got put into our squad sort of just left us to do their own thing. We probably should have tried to hang onto them more. But that's a large squad and its really hard to manage that many people. Our squad is made up of basically one team. We tried to stay together as a larger squad, but the other team decided they didn't want to just hold the building we were assigned to hold and went off and did their own stuff. Which means they did a lot of walking back to the FOB because they had no medic and no connection to Platoon lead, who can also medic. So they were basically on their own to do whatever it was they were doing. In the end I personally ran into them late on Saturday and worked with them for a while as we pushed really far North into the city and held a lot of ground. But in the end, I had to let them go off and do what they wanted to do. And that was fine. They had their fun and so did we!

The way my team and I interface is pretty much the same way you guys did here, we are a small fireteam so we move and follow fluidly based on who's got the best eyes on target/idea at the time and roll with it. We primarily do recon for the CO/XO of whatever side we happen to be playing on then maneuver and attack based directly on what we see the other team doing, and we're finding this very fluid playstyle suits me and my guys well. Good video on SUT! Hope to see you at an event in the midwest soon.

Honestly my group of buddies and I created our own squad. When fully staffed we're 7 strong. Intentionally we have 4 designated members with designated roles. 1. Radio and Logi 2. Demolitions and Munitions 3. Medic 4. Scout Everyone in our squad has some training in each of the 4 role designations, which helps if the primary is downed or out. However the remaining 3 members are primarily just riflemen. The way we tend to run it, is a mixture between fast and loose along with slow and tight. Truly it depends on the engagement we're facing. When we're in a larger open area, we tended to run it fast and loose, splitting the 7 into 2 fire-teams with the scout on over-watch. The most common fire-team examples for our group is like this Fire-team 1: -Rifleman -Rifleman -Radioman Fire-team 2: -Medic -Rifleman -Demolitions And of course the scout is staying back in the tree line, when possible, to provide over-watch, and alert via radio of enemy positions and provide suppressive. When we're running in a more enclosed area we run slow and tight, preferring to keep everyone together, with the medic and radioman at the rear, covered by one of the riflemen. This tends to be in urban environments and we run it usually in a staggered pattern like this. Lead: Rifleman Second: Rifleman Third: Demo Fourth: Scout Fifth: Medic Sixth: Radioman Rear: Rifleman Of course in the urban engagement if needed we can split off with the first four in our staggered column becoming the first fire-team and the final three becoming the second fire-team. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's taken us a fair bit of time to be able to work as a team, and to learn how to predict each others actions. Obviously we always have room to improve, and train when we can. We ensure anyone who joins our team.

Tips on starting to do airsoft I might do it
@TheTarotCardGuy2 жыл бұрын
Number #1 Tip - Semi-auto only unless the enemy is very close. In the CAD army, we only shot semi unless clearing a bunker or trench after we tossed in a frag. Your ammo will last you much longer. Also, when youve wiped out an enemy squad, advance past them and form a defensive line. Then let the squad behind you search for intel and ammo. If youre a single squad, then do the same thing but assign the squad lead to gather the intel and ammo while the rest cover.
@theenglandguy2 жыл бұрын
Problem with that is, nailing someone with a C7 at 300m is a piece of cake, nailing someone at 300m with an airsoft gun basically requires full-auto from an entire squad, if BBs can even go that far.
@TheTarotCardGuy2 жыл бұрын
@@theenglandguy Its not a problem when you realize youre not shooting a C7, you're shooting a BB gun. Its not diffcult to know the effective distance your rifle can shoot, and not pull the trigger until your target is within that range.
@theenglandguy2 жыл бұрын
@@TheTarotCardGuy I don't think you've quite understood my point, but keep living in your tactical delusion where volume of fire doesn't increase hit probability.
@TheTarotCardGuy2 жыл бұрын
@@theenglandguy Hmmmm. World of delusion....? So ignore my real world experience and live in your own reality. If you had any real military experience you would know that a)hitting a moving man sized target at 300m is quite difficult, and b) volume of fire does NOT increase hit probability. Don't believe me, take a look at the Hollywood Bank Heist. But I digress. And last, I hate to burst your visions of grandeur but BBs will never travel 300m, regardless of how many players in a squad are raining them down; so you're not hitting shit.I imagine you're probably a Tier 1 LARPer and play a lot of COD. Carry on.
