I do appreciate the Dedication page. Nice touch. Curious as to why? Someone's grandfather in the PT group? But very nice touch...a break from the staleness of the scenarios. The image on NO Brothers NO Friends is EPIC!! I also appreciate the "to HELL with the standardization of Scenario format"...kinda goes along with the "Death and Damnation" of the Module...nice artistic theme of the scenarios "likely" representing the combat of the area. CONGRATS MMP, just add the maps on the Cards and it'll be the Full MONTY.

I’m am among the bitter enders. I agree that this is not a core addition. I feel that an Italian module would offer more variety. Beach landings, several nationalities, variety of terrain, wide use of different equipment, and the chance of failure or fame is still uncertain.

Thanks for the unboxing. Not really sure if this should be considered a core module, but seems worthy of getting. The overlays are overkill but as I do all my ASL'ing on VASSAL these days, it shouldn't be an issue. (Watched to the hellish end ;-D ).

I was really looking forward to your unboxing of TotR even though I have it on pre-order. I really enjoy your presentations. My suggestion would be for you to rehearse and edit yourself so we don’t have to listen to you puzzling about what you are seeing but get accurate descriptions instead. Very nice. The railcars are probably from VotG where Tom Morin had some extensive rules for the,. Basically +1 TEM and easier bypass options for vehicles if I remember correctly.

My only comment is this: I don't understand why there are so many overlays. The maps are already covered in buildings and then some scenarios add 5-7 overlays. Why not just make the boards look like that and develop the scenarios around those? You can tell I don't like overlays...

Most people don't like overlays. My only theory is they didn't make maps full of railroads and rail cars so they could be used in other urban scenario designs. If they were board of just rails their use would be pretty limited, or you'd have to add a bunch of overlays to them to make them useful. Which is just the same problem.

What the living @#$ with all the rail overlays? Is this 18XX, ASL style? Like the concept of the Cars(TEM) on the rails... large OG is boring, kinda same with all the stone buildings...I foresee RB stacks and counter density approaching New Delhi levels. Seems really out of place as a Core....but its not a HASL...Glorified Action Pack would be a closer representation. Only "new" counter is a 537.

Looks like a waste of money. And no way should it be considered a Core Module. It’s just a glorified action pack with too many railroads and factory overlays and two counter sheets. I have several Stalingrad modules and don’t really need more battles involving factories. Would rather see a historical module with an accurate map, two sheets of counters and the rules for the new stuff. Maybe the Battle of Berlin which was really the end of the Reich. And looks like most scenarios are Eastern Front.
