Thanks for the scenario replay. Wasn't aware of the A20.21 surrender, or I had forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me. Also, 1:03:46 I don't think the 628 would be allowed that second shot because it is Long Range, and Subsequent First Fire needs to be Normal Range (A8.3)

I wonder if the "unbroken" missing part of A10.51 was a deliberate omission or intended. It always seemed strange to me that two unbroken units could sit beside each other la-di-da, but the same broken unit can prevent routing towards it. Seems it should be either or, not best of both worlds.

These are so good. At 20:04 you say that a final DR of 4 on the 6 column is a +1 MC, but it is a +2. I think you mistakenly looked at the 4 column? This result would have broken the squad.

Also, shouldn't the shot at 6FP have left a 2 Residual? That might have made a difference to the Russian squad moving into the hex later. Really great videos, which are super helpful learning tools 👍🏻👏🏻

Unless I'm incorrect or missing something, @22:50 shouldn't the German unit go to 8FP for PBF, then halved for SFF and halved again for being pinned, for a 2FP -1 shot?

You got it right, and would have only left 1 residual. I forgot the pin marker. This is why I'm not a fan of playing solo...there's no backup player to catch dumb little things like this. 😁

Amazing job once again, it's a pleasure to follow this new turn :) Quick question, at 24:50 the Russian squad made an Assault Move on L3, taking a 2FP Residual attack. However, couldn't the German squad on K4 also attack with Final Protective Fire on them, as they moved adjacent to them ? Thanks :)

Yes, they could. But would risk breaking to do so.

Which rule states that you add 1 after halving for advancing fire? I don't see it under A7.24 (1st edition, 1985)

Surrender the unit in G6 first since they can't rout. If the Germans don't accept surrender, then the unit in F5 gets to low crawl away into the street at least, or risk interdiction once NQ is declared.
