Moon Master Cancel is awesome because it's a heavy attack, and when done correctly, it's the fastest way to stagger enemies. And it works extremely well against brutes and Oni enemies.

Amazing! Really cool tech. Something worth noting : I like playing samurai water stance with explosive blades and blessed strikes. And this animation cancel tech doesn't trigger the explosion, would have been awesome if it did!

Replying to myself to ask a question : Without knowing how (yet), I've canceled the animation of the Hachiman (no casting and no end animation, which is always dangerous in Nightmare mode lol), just the 5 strikes and boom, back into fight. Do you know if anyone figured how?

I learned the faster rolling thing by losing to a dude after Chapter 2 🤣 I was way ahead of this fool and dude gained on me & beat me to the gate. Took it personally since then lmao

If you want to run even faster, do the Dash Attack Cancel. The L3+Square+R1 combo. Each swipe covers more ground then the sprinting roll.

I'm not sure if it's faster though. He's doing actually the rolling run a little bit wrong, he should give slightly more time for running animation, I think it's same as fast as dash attack and easier actually to achieve and you have more control over your direction as the dash attack is very sticked to changing angles rather when roll you can change direction after it. The running animation the first two steps are as fast as rolling.

@@Sl1z3r yeah. You're right. Dash Attack cancel is not 100% reliable. Missed a button, and you end up pulling off an attack against nothing. The sprint rolling gives much better control, and much more reliable. I'm using it much more than DAC now.

The timing for this is pretty tricky... Especially if you have heavenly strike equipped. Instead of canceling into the second spin, i keep canceling into heavenly strike lol

@@GooshyG anyone of them. You know, those blood gate that you need to press R2 to “Destroy”? Apparently, a lot of people found a glitch to run go through the gate without destroying it, which result in no enemies spawning at certain areas
