Hi Ignace please could you help, when I choose the comp as my texture square there are two problems: 1. It does use the original color of the comp, rather uses a random yellow color that the particle system applies to it 2. The particles do not respect the animation of the original comp, but rather look like they're taking a freeze frame of the comp and then spawning the freeze frame

lol, it's been 9 months since your post. However, the answer(s) to your question: 1) after you've created a line of code, with the colors you want, simply change birth and death color to white under particle option. 2) to make your particles move like your created them to, make sure you select (from start) for the time texture instead of the recommended birth option. et voila problem(s) solved.
