This is really what seperates the sound of serum from vital. This unision thing is the main huge diffrence of sound result u will get! In serum it's easier, but in vital it's more advanced and exact

I used to think VITAL was just a free Serum knock-off when it came out. How wrong I was! Loving your videos on this synth, they've made me realise how much potential it has and that it certainly stands on its own!

Sweet! 🙂 Can’t wait to try these modes out! And you have it right for power chords - its a chord that just has the root and fifth (often multiple of each) and because there is no 3rd (and that scale degree makes a chord major/minor) it can be used in either context if you want that sound. 🙂

LOL The Tube Screamer was not a "brutal" pedal by any means, not even when it was first released in the 70s. It was actually designed to simply help guitar amplifiers go into distortion by pushing the preamp section, as a departure from that era's fuzz pedals which were much harsher. That resulted in one of the most transparent distortion pedals, aided by the fact that it blends some of the dry signal into the output of the pedal. If you want harder distortion pedals, look for simulations of the Rat, DS-1, Centaur or Metal Zone (and countless others).

Wow. Im embarrassed to say ive had vital since it was first released and i haven’t even opened it yet. I have a lot of great software synths and its become hard to stay on top of them. This is amazing for super fat large sounds. Ive been meaning to do something with it and this could be the reason.

In FL Studio you have a pretty sick Distortion Tool called "Hardcore" it is very heavy and can bring you cool guitar-like sounds...and with your trick here it is another way to design my own sounds...thanx a lot

A power chord is simply the root plus 7 semitones Basically just a perfect 5th.

Plus the octave Root-5th-8ve is the classic power chord
