great video! when creating a new A+ catalog campaign for this method - how many duplicate catalog ads do you start the campaign with? do you create all 6 or so at once? or create 1 or two, then duplicate themonce you have some sales. this is for an existing campaign with seasoned pixel :)

Always start with all the ads on the campaign from the beggining. We dont add more after the adv plus starts to run. We only close and optimize. About the number of ads it doesent matter so much like CBO campaigns since it will still optimize for 1-2 ads, therefore 10 ads should be ok.

I would do that method only if Im desperate and only catalog is working. Most of the time it will work with a best seller product set.

Hello Konstantinos! I have one question for you and I would like to know your thoughts on this situation. I just got a new ad account, with new pixel and everything new. In this store I have more than 100 products that I have to launch them and test them to identify some winners . Do you believe creating one ASC (as the first campaing for this new pixel) with catalog sets inside it can be a good idea? The size of the audience in Romania is about 8-12 milions. The thing is this. You need to do both interests and broad to see what is better. You cant just answer that in a new ad account with a new pixel in theory. I can see your point about ASC but I would feel better if I test both and compare!

Interesting. I have the same "problem", where just catalog works. How many ads do you have in an adset? There seem to be at least 5 active, in your live example. Your catalog ads seem to only be "Best sellers". Did you try running all the products and let Meta decide which to show? I seem to have better results by letting it decide instead of forcing "Best sellers". I usually segment by product category and let all the products in that category run.

How many ads depends on the budget. I used before the crazy method an adv plus with different product sets and this was the one working better so I moved this catalog set with many ads in a Crazy method campaign. You can do what you propose I also do it and then focus on the catalog set that has the best results :). Will analyze more on podcast 63!

Yes 5 is ok. In this video I used the adv plus crazy method cause I had no other option. See all my other strategies also.

If my first product image on my Shopify store is a ‘product on white background’ image and my second image is a lifestyle image, is there a simple way my Meta Catalogue Ad be altered to pull the second image and not show the first?

You can go to commerce manager and change manualy the images. I'm sure there are third party apps that can do that also but havent used any.

I have a FB product catalog that has different products going to different websites. When I try to create ads it says to add website but they are different websites and the url are in the catalog itself. Can i ignore this and publish? I’m confused how to run ads to my catalog

How did you manage to create 1 catalog from many websites? I have never seen that before!!! I have never done ads with a catalog that has many products from different websites and urls. I didnt even know it is possible. Icant guide you, I'm lacking experience to this topic.

@@KonstantinosDoulgeridisI did it in 2020. I just added all my products. I don’t think commerce manager existed idk. I had a facebook shop that still exists and I just added all my products to it and it put it into one catalog. I worked out that I need to create different sets, one for each product in the catalog. Then i created 7 different variations for each product with different images. Then in the adset I selected the set I want to use, then I ended up with one ad for that set that has 1 product with 7 variations. Then duplicated that 6 times. So I have 6 ads for one product that has 7 variations. I’m running it tomorrow at midnight will see if it works. I’m just figuring this out as I go along. I’ve only had time to do one product set so I’ll run that first. I can always ad more adsets later to the CBO.

Is this Advantage + Audience (Set up ad manually) or Advantage + Shopping Campaign? Because in Advantage + Shopping Campaign I cannot duplicate Catalog ads.

This is Advantage plus shopping campaign and of course you can dublicate catalog ads. Just did it in one account before I reply.

No dont do that. Just do 1 ad. Your budget is small.

Hi! When i make this catalog ads,in the destination i should put nothing,right? No link because basically the link that will open is the one of any products. I am getting an error, Meta wants me to add a destination link. I don t know how to surpass this. thanks in advance for your answer

add the link of the home page. This is for the last card of the carousel. Rest cards will take the product link from the catalog.
