After optimizing an ASC ad set with 5 ads, you turned off 3 and kept 2 running without lowering the $50 budget, as reducing it would require dropping to $25. At what point should you consider turning the one of ads back on within the ad set?

The learning phase is related to each adset. Adding ads WITHOUT touching the existing ads shouldnt reset it. Now that I replied I must say that I think that you should not add ads and you should not care about the learning phase.

Thanks Konstantinos! I currently have 1 CBO campaign running at $80 daily budget with 4 duplicated ad sets inside running with crazy method. All ad sets have sales and campaign average 3 ROAS. Facebook is recommending I only keep the best performing ad set on for a lower CPA. Would you recommend following this?

Since I started using your multiple campaigns strategy, my account has been generating consistent results! Really appreciate all the value you share! Quick question: Since I launched my first set of campaigns, Facebook has been tracking more sales than Shopify. It’s weird because it’s usually the opposite. Have you ever run into this? Sir, do you recommend using 1 ad per ad set to avoid Meta favoring a single ad too quickly, or is it better to scale by running a $100 ABO ad set with 5 ads instead of 5 separate ad sets with 1 ad each at $500 total? Which approach do you think is more effective for scaling and optimizing performance?

on ASC you can only do 1 adset so yes 1 adset with many ads in it. If it doesent work do CBO with many adsets and each adset will have the same 3-5 ads and yes it depends on what works on each account thats why I cant give a specific answer.

Depends on the creatives and the store. If the creatives are scaling you can do that. If the store has AOV fluncuation you can do that. It is working well though the ASV value opt in some ad accounts that I use it.

Sir I currently have 6 ASC campaigns running with the same structure, each featuring different creatives and products. All campaigns have a $25 budget, which has been my winning structure so far. My average ROAS is at 1.5, which is breakeven, but I need to get it to 2+ for profitability. When looking at the maximum timeframe, the results appear solid, but performance over the last 30 days has dipped. I know performance can fluctuate, with some campaigns performing well one week and then dropping the next before bouncing back. I understand you often recommend turning off the weakest performers, but it’s difficult to identify the “worst” one since the results look very similar over the maximum timeframe. Would you still suggest closing campaigns based on high CPMs, or is there a better way to optimize and stabilize performance to improve ROAS?

I must say that I get that this works for you but I cant believe that you need 6 campaigns with 25 each. I think you need to have less and consolidate to stronger bigger campaigns. Like 3 75 ones. Abou the rest it is just experience managing accounts with average results. If I would improve something though it would be what I said above. I think that you need it. 25 dollar campaigns makes no sense. You spend 150 per day with 6 campaigns while others do it with just 1 campaign. I know that I'm against consolidation but your spend is low.

Hi Konstantinos, We followed your advice on stacking campaigns, and with just 13-14 multiple campaigns at a low budget of $100/day, we’re consistently hitting $3-4k/day through horizontal scaling. All of these are CBO campaigns. Now, we’re looking to scale vertically with ASC. We launched an ASC campaign by country, and after a week, it’s performing decently. However, we’re unsure about increasing the budget from $100 yet, as it seems slower than CBO the optimization for ASC. How would you suggest we approach this? Our goal is to continue testing with low-budget campaigns but also scale big with ASC. Is it normal to wait a bit longer before increasing the budget on ASC? Thanks!

Perfect. I dont think that you need more time to ASC. What you need to do now is try to find a bigger budget structure that works and you can optimize. You need to pivot to 200 or 300 campaigns. Fear is one thing that will stop you ornot being able to optimize like this, but you have to if you wanna scale. Your structure is good for now but if you wanna scale further you will need bigger campaigns.

Okay, I got it, and thanks a lot for the advice. So, basically, we’ve already launched ASC campaigns for two different countries, but we used the same $100 budget to start , that we always use for smaller campaigns. When you talk about a big scaling campaign, should we just start bumping up the budget for these and scale them vertically? I assume there’s no need to be scared , be patient instead since the first 2-3 days usually come with the risk of RoAS dropping.

No the point is to start with 200 or 300 to see how it behaves. After 48 hours start optimizing like the way I show we optimize ASC on the videos.

Normally they do drop. Watch the daily loop theory. At least on my end only way to scale without dropping ROAS it is there from the ad accounts I worked with.

If you have 0 idea of what is working on an ad account then you kinda need to test your way through. So test many things at a time until something works. Then analyze also numbers. Cost per click to see if the problem is creatives. Checkout to purchase ratio to see if the site has shit conversion rate or CPM to see if your targeting is ok and you can get cheaper traffic with other targeting and many more examples

1. Are you saying to set our daily budget in the beginning to our ideal CPA? I’ve tried 2x’ing budgets in order to get another purchase per day (going from 1 to 2 purchases for example) and performance gets significantly worse. 2. Is there a time period that you wait once you increase these budgets? Ex. Don’t touch audience for 7 full days since performance fluctuates throughout the week?

Hi Konstantinos, thank you for all your videos! I've been going through everything and learning a LOT, coming from the 1 CBO method myself. I'm a little confused on your new campaigns. Do all the campaigns share creatives, or does each campaign get its own completely new set of creatives? Also, most of your content is on Facebook's algorithm, but that'll only get you so far if your creative is bad...since you freelance, do your clients give you the creatives or do you handle making them yourself? I doubt most clients are very good at that, so I'd love some more of your insight on making high-performing creatives! Thank you!

In this case I used creatives that had good Roas but never took spend in the big CBO campaign that the owner kept throwing creatives. Trying to prove that the fact that they didnt spend there doesent mean they cant spend on their own campaigns. On top of that I did cost caps and bid caps wwith the same creatives. Now on the road to 20k per day spend will do only new campaigns with new creatives and new angles from now on All of my clients give me the creatives you are right I focus on the algo. Whoever is not good at creatives I wont work with them. I can take limited clients anyway. Rest can go to agencies 😀😀😀 if they need a 360 service.

Thanks for the case study! The challenging part of implementing the multiple campaign strategy is to know which campaigns and audiences to create, and when to use the same creatives and when to introduce new ones. In this video, you mentioned the crazy method, maximizing value, and bid/cost caps. Perhaps we could launch all these campaigns with the same creatives to identify which structure works best, and then test new creatives with whats working. I hope we can see a video that covers these details. Thanks!

The scaling will happen only when you will have tested many things and validated all the structures and campaigns that work on your ad account. This is where you implement multiple campaigns with working structures and different creatives. About the second part yes you can and I do use the same creatives for cost caps and bid caps. The value opt ASC was a different test I would do it with the same creatives, just wanted to see if I can use it with future creatives. I dont know if I can make such detailed video but in the next videos of this case study I will try to cover it more. Creatives that I use or the brands that I work with is something that I will never share sadly for obvious reasons which makes things more difficult to explain. We do work like this on the Chosen 5 though and there with daily calls everything is more clear.

@@isabellemourad1824 Amazing question. They do but here I do control the spend and the bid. How much I'm willing to spend on it. So what I do is that I have my normal campaign spending and I'm scaling with cost caps mostly being able to aggressively increase and decrease spend if needed. Problem is that cost caps and bid caps don't work in all accounts.

When launching a new campaign with new content, the performance of the old campaign decreases. Both campaigns have a combined budget of $50, targeting an audience of 10M (10 million). Do you have any solutions to avoid this issue? I want to test new creatives, but launching a test campaign significantly affects the old campaign.

What is happening in most cases is that while you think that you post new creatives these creatives reasonate with the same people that your original campaign does. That's why they canibalize each other. The point is to do dif creatives with different angles that will reasonate with different people targeting and forming different hotpockets so that you can avoid this situation. I need to point out that in your case this 50 spend is nothing and it shouldnt happen. Either your offer is not good or you have much competition or your creatives are not that good or whatever any other reason which I cant know talking hypothetically here.

I reied the method with a new carousel catalog ad totally, it is not a winning catalog ad, I just have some insight from the store and decided to go with certain products and new arrivals and I started with 50$ only so I did 5 ads and boom 3rd day and this is the highest roas and profitable from a catalog ever, should I touch it and close the an ad or two with the highest cpo or leave it as it is still too early? Sometimes I do not like to touch a campaign if it is profitable anyways, and 5 ads is not as aggressive as yours so what do you think?

Just leave it if it works. These campaigns dont last long for your info I dont prefer them but sometimes they do work when other creatives dont.

If your leading ad in an ad set fails and the pixel is still untrained, would you create a new ad set with the same targeting but exclude the failed ad, or would you keep the current ad set running and let Facebook optimize by shuffling the cards?

in an untrained pixel case I wil l try to relaunch and reoptimize. I wont blame the creative right away but the pixel for not being able to sustain it. Also if you talk about now which is a low period I wouldnt even bother.

I dont like to talk with hypothetical scenarios for this exact reason. In any case either close the leading ad that doesent give sales and takes all budget and let the rest to spend on relaunch the campaign without it. Both ways are acceptable.

Amazing video, I saw one of your videos a few weeks ago as well and back to this one. I google searched and landed here. Subscribed :) I'm running a campaign in New Zealand, broad targeting for women 1.4M to 1.5M population. I've set a $18/day budget, how many days before I should start seeing the first conversion? CTR is about 1.16%, cmp is $20, cpc is $1.65. item selling price is $40. I haven't had any sales and only 1 email capture. Running since 3 days.

Nobody can tell you that. Each ad account and product is different. You need to keep testing until you get a sale and some results. There are so many factors to this.

@ I seen you used to say to use the crazy method but then seen a video that you don’t use that much anymore. For lower spending accounts and newer accounts- do you have an updated video on how you structure these? As far as interest, LAL or just using ASC?

Hey Konstantinos, long time since I’ve commented! Results bounced back really well and I had acouple 20k days in Black Friday period. However we sold out and chose not to go on presale, we have 100 ads ready to go live we want to spend from 3-5k per day on one campaign - do you think this is to many ads for the spend? How many ads should we launch this campaign with? Thanks for your advice!

First of all start on Jan. This is not a good period to test until the end of the year. About the 100 ads dont do straight away all. Start builing it slowly dont try to go to 20k days right away. Increase every 2-3 days based on results.

Is data restriction: Core setup being turned on by Meta automatically got anything to do with this? Got an email last month saying “if data restrictions are turned on in your data source, new custom events will be blocked until you confirm that they are from your business and follow our Meta Business Tools terms.” But we did not get categorized/an email saying that.

As I said in the podcast we cant know 100% until the 15th but the fact that you have data restrictions means to me that you will be under review when time comes and these reviews could take months. Like everyone you will have to wait and see.

@@KonstantinosDoulgeridis I made a new pixel and connected it to the same website, after one full day of receiving data from the same domain nothing happened (data restrictions still off). What does that mean? I noticed the first pixel somehow had a custom event on it, and the data restriction only turned on when that happened. The new pixel has no custom events btw.

Haven't commented in a while but have a lovely Xmas Kosntantinos! I have come a long way from my 10k in sales/month. I just did my first million dollar month this december and a lot of it is thanks to you. Last couple of days have been terrible but its part of the game I guess!
