I don't know why but something about Advent Sorrow really makes them stand out. I can't quite put my finger on it. And I don't usually listen to black metal. But overall this is truly one of the best bands I've came across.

There's also a lot of well and cleanly produced modern black metal out there with outstanding audio quality, this band is just one of many in that regard.
