You're a really amazing dad! So many people stop adventuring when they have kids or careers, saying they're "too busy" doing something they think the kids need, but as a kid who grew up in the city without adventure in my life I can attest to the fact that there is nothing more important in a kid's life than learning how to live a life of passion. Oftentimes the things kids are taught to want are too simplistic as if parents are just trying to keep the kids occupied and out of their hair, and kids grow out of simple minded games but you're teaching your kids what life is really all about and that's just beautiful.

Most kids would have been terrified but there was nothing but STOKE on that little girl's face! She seemed fearless!!

The girls were obviously having a blast, just listen to them and look at their faces. Nobody was crying and saying I want to go home. Just like on the last day of most trips, everyone was was tired and ready for a burger and fries. Lol

well there was some crying of course and other challenges around the trip! lol but for the white water we did do really well for attitude except on the rainy part of the last day haha Thanks my friend!

9:51 Beautiful reflex catch of the paddle by the young lady. Great to see parents taking kids out for in-nature activities like this. Kids (and parents too) are too glued to their "devices" these days.

Marty, nobody on this side of your screen can answer that question , but judging from the intensity of your mini-me warriors,,, I’d say that they’re hooked !! Critic that trip with them and ask for their input on what they would do the same and different,, make them part of the team as they already are !! It’s a fantastic and epic journey that you’re partaking (sp) and I wish you all a safe and exciting trip !! Enjoy and take us with !!

Absolutely LOVED this one!!! My god Marty, as a Dad I couldn't even imagine how I would have felt through some of those rapids with the kids. Talk about a mixed bag of emotions lol the kids did great! Screaming LETS GOOO and saving the paddle. My favorite was the cross legged relaxed sitting approach into the C3 thought for sure you were gonna lose her. This was a great display of your skills and confidence as well as how great of a father you really are. Thank you for sharing this one with us!

My friend thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it :) It honnestly looks way scarier then it is! lol And what I mean by that is I would never do anything where I would put the kids in a situation they don't want to be in or where they can actually get hurt. Accident do happen but we walk what we are not 100% confident we can run! it would have been funny on that class 3 if she would have actually swam! haha it would have been the perfect spot for it! Lots of water no rocks... just a fun swim!! lol

I was scared going down in rafts, I couldn’t imagine a canoe! Awesome stuff. How do you bail out the water once it’s in, do you use a hand pump?
@martymorissette2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! We just use bailors. When you have to much water in the canoe you Eddie out behind a rock and you bail and you keep going
