You can also ride to the top of the tuross falls from the wadbiliga trail, it is one of the best rides to do in that area. Hopefully it is still accesible since the bushfire regrowth took over.
@mosa4688 Жыл бұрын
Yeah the views from Falcon Rd and Wadbilliga Rd are "unfortunately" spectacular at the moment - I say unfortunately because the bushfires cleared away most of the trees and undergrowth to allow you to see some of the amazing rock formations and rugged country - it wasn't always as visible, but still special. Badja Trig - before the fires you couldn't ride all the way to the top because it was over grown with tea tree and scrub. It is however great to see and hear the wildlife coming back. The Tuross River crossing is normally only one water hole (the deep one) - with a long run up of loose sand when you are coming up from the mountain, but the floods washed all that away and you now have the 2 water sections. Hearing how much you guys enjoyed that area makes me not take it for granted so much. Great footage.

Hey there, I can't answer the question about whether it is going to be available soon or anytime in the future.... Only Skydio can answer that. I dont' think there is anywhere that you can buy them in Australia... I know there are a handful of them here, but apparently flying them outside the US and Canada is technically against their terms of service at the moment... So while I bought mine in the USA and fly it there for some of the time... I technically shouldn't be flying it in Australia.... but that is not going to stop me.

Great video, really enjoyed watching. This is not a criticism but were you happy with the frame rate? Maybe just me but some of wasn’t as smooth as your usual stuff. Only asking because I am using all your GoPro settings and advice
@brentbat Жыл бұрын
Hey Nick, I know exactly what you mean....The issue is. not the frame rate it is the shutter speed. If it gets too long, then the image stabilisation doesn't work as well... so it appears a bit shakey. I am pinning the ISO to 100min and 200max and had an ND8 on. Because it couldn't lift the ISO above 200, the shutter speed dropped and the motion blur became too much for the Hypersmooth stabilisation. I should have swapped out the ND8 and put a clear lens filter on, and that would have fixed it. I was a bit lazy in those parts.

I really like the Lynx fairing for multiple reasons. I like the fact that it mounts to handlebars and frames... It feels less intrusive to me. I like the fact that I can lay out the dashboard how I wanted it. I also like the fact that you can get two windscreens and they slide down out of the way when you are on the dirt. Headlights are also excellent. It may not look the sexiest, but it is definitely super functional.

Awesome production as always. Question, what bitrate do you like to export these motorcycle videos when shot in 1440p or 4K at 30fps? I use high bitrate option in the GoPro and then export via Software 60-80mps bitrate for KZbin at 4K. Huge files 😅is it an overkill?
@brentbat Жыл бұрын
Carlos, I edit at 1920X960 resolution (2:1), and then I upscale to 2K at a 50mbps bitrate when I export. The 2K forces KZbin to use the VP09 high resolution encoder. I have found that if you don't export at a high bitrate (like 50mbps), then you start getting compression artifacts in your mast file, and KZbin will then further degrade that when it applies it's compression algorithm. I hope this helps.

If you were going to give it a crack, I'd probably have a go from the South (going up Brassknocker Rd), I think that looked a lot easier...
