Adventure on the Canyon Grail: A Morning Ride Through Northaven Trail

Riding my Canyon Grail through the Northaven Trail to the 75 Freeway, I set out early in the morning when the temperature was just right. I aimed to reach the lake, but it was still closed. As I made my way back, the Texas heat began to kick in, and I found myself drinking a lot of water with electrolytes to stay hydrated. The trail to the right after the bridge was open but littered with trash and occupied by homeless people, so we decided to avoid it. Despite these challenges, the ride was an adventure worth every pedal stroke.
