Thanks Silas, I used to live in an area where people wouldn't want to pay anything for parts, it's so frustrating when you know what something is worth! Nowdays i'm in a better area, but have no space to part out anything! I hope you work it out, all I can think of is storing the good parts and then one day go to a swap meet.

Hey Silas I got to say I just started watching your videos and they are a great entertainment for me. I appreciate the fact that you're a humble man and quite knowledgeable in what you do. I think it's great that you and your dad have this little rivalry as well in a good way such as when you find money in the cars. Which leads me to a point I would like to make when you find coinage in those vehicles even though you're busy as heck you should protect the individual coins somehow. I know you're busy busy and don't have a lot of time but some of those coins are highly sought after by collectors. You don't want to scratch them up, you don't want to clean them in any way except for maybe water soak, and just try and protect him as best you can. I don't know how knowledgeable you are in coins I'm no professional but look at KZbin videos on coins and you'll see that people are looking for the '70s and the '80s and the '90s where they ignored those in the past. Of course there is the 1943 if you ever run into a 1943 and it is copper you may find yourself living in Costa Rica permanently. I don't know exactly what the last one sold for but I think it was between $800,000 and a couple million. I will comment more often as items come up. You take it easy even though you work your butt off you know what I mean, I wish you nothing but luck and good fortune. Thanks for all you do you are appreciated from Oregon

You can get some good money for the grill in that old Chevy truck, it looks like it is a 73 or 74. I heard that those grills are hard to find and very expensive if you find one. That one looks like its complete and not broke. I need the side window glass for a mid 80's chevy C10.

Silas, There are a ton of parts that are "not worth your time", and you are sending to the land fills. Why not do something like a self service scrap yard. Lots of people would benefit, and less in the land fills. Maybe just on the weekends, and keeping people in a small section of the yard, where cars can be picked over first. Lots of places doing this now of days.
