I used to absolutely hate it and my daughter does too. I just gently remind us both that some people like to plan ahead. They buy stuff they may need and store the things until around the holiday. Also, it could be something like when you buy things out of season they are cheaper.

Loved to go to World Market,, Big Lots and Ollie's to pick up unique snack/food items when I would create gift baskets for elderly family members for holidays. They loved the new and interesting items to snack on and they didn't have to cook anything. Also, since it was all consumable, there was nothing to have to find a place for or dust. Now that I am getting older, I see what they mean as I am trying to get rid of things. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure!

We used to have one beside our Costco and I love it for special Pantry items, and some interesting decor and furniture items. I bought lovely carved wooden wall hangings..great sales...and I still want an incredible beautiful carved wooden daybed that I want badly...great quality and many good wines, good deals on kitchen items. I miss it so much.

I love World Market! I used to shop there a lot in the early 2000s before I went gluten-free and before having kids. I loved all their holiday decor and different foods. I remember their store rewards being useful and it saving me money, don't know what it's like now. I used to buy their spices in glass jars, but they also had larger quantities that I would buy. I remember buying their gnocchi and pestos. It was an easy and inexpensive meal to make. Also their Christmas sweets, like stollen bread was delicious. I can't eat any of that now, but I have good memories shopping at that store. 🥰 Thanks for taking us along!

Fun place Hi Jess, nice to see you Danno We had two Lazy boy recliner a light blue and a light pink in our last home and loved them. I have a beautiful real fancy orange pumpkin pie dish that it even has a recipe printed in it, I payed about 40 for mine I got it in a catalog a long time ago . Did you see any colored chocolate rock candy I ordered some from Amazon? I laughed out loud when you offered the thinking skeleton some coffee that was good 😛. I would have spent about a hundred dollars in that store for sure .

Ginger is very good and helps with digestion and digestive issues. My older sister is a gastroenterologist. Stoope waffles are great too from Holland. Just set in on top of your favorite hot coffee and it melts the caramel. We had a Swedish exchange student who traveled to Amsterdam and said the caramel waffle cookies were delicious. Hello! I remember in the '60's or 70's we would go to San Francisco to shop at Cost Plus! It was great, all international products, then they expanded and were Cost Plus World Market and opened up everywhere in California. Fun store. Karla in Cali

The First World Market that I went to, was in Pleasanton, CA. (E Bay ) about 23 years ago. I lived in the SF Bay area off and on and miss it and love it out there. A favorite thing to do for me, was buy a Kite at the Chinatown Kite Shop in downtown SF(Chinatown) and then go over to Crissy Field East Beach and fly the kite at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. Everyone should ride a cable car (Powell-Hyde) route at least once. IMO.

I'm making a list since there are a few sale items I want to pick up. Unless they have changed over the years, that brand of steak isn't very good. I got a couple when they first started carrying them, and they were so tough they were inedible. My dog enjoyed her "chew toys," though. I complained to the meat manager and he said he'd had a lot of complaints. All he could suggest was to marinate them for "a couple of days."🙀

@danniemcdonald7675 they are not bad, not Sams quality, but I cooked 2 in the air fryer then sautéed in ghee and topped with Kerrygold butter. Def worth $4 a steak, we eat carnivore and go thru approx 3 1/2 lbs per day of meat, so this is a huge savings for us. I have friends who haven't bought steaks in months, this is affordable for them, thicker steak is more tender, just have them cut it thick, air fryer keeps them tender.

What a fun store! Wish we had one here in Gainesville. On your furniture I recommend Rooms To Go, we went to the Ocala showroom, lots of recliners to try out. We just bought Cindy Crawfords Cambria loveseat & ottoman, it's as big as an 84 in sofa but you can get the sofa, my 6'3 hubs can lay down, it's wide seats and really comfy! You melt into it. It's only $875 right now. Room underneath for storage too if you need it. The ottoman is large enough for both of us to put our legs on it plus the dog haha, you can make an L shape too, both can lay down at once.
