Jared, I know you’re behind the scenes making AWP bigger and better than ever before, but you are missed! Chaos Divers, AWP! I love and respect you all! Both are the lighthouses guiding missing loved ones home! No matter who is in the episode, the purpose remains the same! Speaking of purpose, I’m wearing my What’s Your Purpose shirt today! I am so impressed by the cooperation, respect, and teamwork between AWP, 67 Towing, Chaos Divers,and Sheriff Hendricks and the officers you worked with! @@RainbowRockStar08 i belive its talked about in the solved case of Jed Hall. (Here is the link) kzbin.info/www/bejne/garIfmCjgbtre6c The way I see it is With fresh cases the family are still deeps in the stages of denial, refusing to belive they could be gone and thinking they will just show up suddenly at somepoint. They aren't at a point where they want to hear that the one they care about has passed away and that they will never be able to do anything with them ever again. But with old cases/cold cases where the vehicle and missing person hasn't been seen and the authorities have already put an end the search, the family seeks help from AWP at a point where they are already accepting of the fact that wherever their missing loved one may be it is likely that they are not alive. At this point they just want answers as to if they are in the water or if there is maybe some hope left, and if the car and person are found then they can bring the body (or whatever they can) home for a proper ceremony so the family can have the closure that they have been longing to have for ages.

I am shocked at how many people go missing in bodies of water with their vehicles. I know accidents happen, but some people just seem to drive off into water. I am so thankful that there are people who volunteer their services to find these people. Keep up the much needed work Adventures With Purpose.

They have encountered some absolutely AWFUL PD reps, to the point of their interactions should have cost that PD members their badges, disrespectful to AWP and the families of the lost loved ones. It was not only disgusting to hear them, as they refused to be videoed - even though they don’t have that choice as a public servant - but they also were dismissive or AWP their mission, training and purpose…which just absolutely peeved me off as they could have take 2 minutes the internet and legitimized what they do.

I love how you show the scanning process and how it does take a particular set of skills to kind of be able to find a car underwater... People get so disrespectful to law enforcement when they scanned a place, but didn't find the car or the person.... Knowing what it takes to know what you are looking at and not looking at and also knowing what to look for takes knowledge and skill and honestly takes experience.

Let us not forget that AWP has also had to search the same spot more than once in the past. It doesn't happen often but sometimes it just doesn't show up the first time. So the fact that Local LEOs who don't do this as often might miss something is to be expected.
@nataliacoggins67692 жыл бұрын
@@keith_jones and Amber - YES!!!!! There have been several occasions when this happened with local LE (especially the latest with Kiely), but at least twice with AWP! Waterways shift and objects, like trees, branches, etc, also shift! Also as was the case in Kiely, the water level fell 4 feet from the weekend she went missing to the weekend AWP showed up - which could've led to why LE to miss her on their first "extensive search"
