Bear paws drop from the bounty guy that wears the bear helmet with antlers, they drop in the crucible, and random chest in Orban Glades at the very top north usually where you kill the bounty.

the carpenter sells the fishing rods, by the enchanter. from lvl 2 i think.

By some reason i can't turn the crane to the extent that you can. Have i missed something or is it bugged for me?

Have you already tried turning it the other way to reach that point? They seem to have a limited rotation each way.

Loving the game and the art style is mind-blowing, but I’m a little concerned that every single streamer I see playing the game is using a 2H sword or sword & board. Where’s the build diversity? No casters? No archers? 🤷🏻‍♂️

The staves and bows exist, but I've only seen one bow and by the time I got my hands on a staff I already have several attribute points set towards a build. Since there is no way to respec my character, I just stuck with what I had already. Knowing what I know now, I'd do things a bit differently. To summarize, I think the reason you don't see mage and archers so much at the moment is that you just don't get your hands on that stuff soon enough.
