I'm Israeli and after grauduation we're going to the army and not for college\university, so when I had in my senior year I had to think where I want to be at the army and if I want to do something else before(there's sometimes an option to voulenteer one year before you're going to the army, and that's what I'm about to do in a month). I feel like I talked a lot, but what I want to say is try to make ur life the way you want. If you want to go for a specific college? try to go for it. If you want to spend a year doing something else? do that

Maddie Marina if you plan on going into university, being undeclared is a thing! I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do, but it also helped me knowing that I can change my mind until the end of my sophomore year at most universities without "wasting" any time. Hope that helps you too :)

@@Astra81 take an intership or get a part time job during your school year. Pay your senior dues dont miss out on that opportunity there will be many kids who dont participate in the beginning but they will come around in the end. Dont slack too much because your grades still matter. Finish the year strong Make the most of your senior year happen because expectations will only bring you down. Dont wait to do your college search start now because trust me theres alot to do depending how much colleges you are applying to, you dont want all of that college stuff piling up when you're trying to enjoy you senior year. Apply for financial Aid(FAFSA) this will help pay for college Tuition and when applying dont miss when it says if you want to apply for (TAP)tuition assistance programs that more money to help pay for college expenses. I wish I had something like this when I was a senior! I graduated high school in May and this video made me really nostalgic. I focused a lot on college aps and scholarships and spent little time on friends and memories in comparison. For incoming seniors, don't forget to balance friends and school! I wish that I had spent a lot more time with people than I did. Good luck to the class of 2018! 😊

I'm soooooo scared of senioritis! In both sophomore and junior year I had a dip in my motivation and grades in the second quarter (end of the first semester). It's soooo bad! I was always so stressed and barely keeping the grades I wanted, instead of being a little on the safe side. It's so nerve wracking!

Sarah Martinez I feel you on this , my motivation was really low during my junior year and my grades went down with it and I eventually had this "ah I don't care anymore" feeling all the time. But it gets better and living in the 'now' rather than the past is a way to go. Good luck 💕💕

Even though Senior year is different in the UK this video is extremely helpful. My school helps with the college and university applications through the UCAS program, it takes stress off of us so we can study for preliminary exams in January and allows us to focus on extra curricular activities including prom and senior prank day
