Another piece of advice regarding PSATs: that test is an invaluable resource in studying for the actual SAT!! Once you get your PSAT scores back, get onto your college board account and hook it up to khan academy! this will create a PERSONALIZED study plan for you to prepare for whichever SAT test date you choose. It's such a helpful algorithm, and it's coming straight from college board so you really can't beat it, plus it's free! don't waste such a good resource, and start as soon as possible for maximum results

(◡△◡✿) ah when i just finished sophomore year also a lil tip for incoming sophomores (or freshmen tbh) check if your school has a graduation requirement for community service hours and start working on them as early as possible! don't leave your hours until the later years and be stressed out towards the end of junior year/all of senior year. research on some of the clubs in your school! they may give service hours and may have activities that will give you hours. i agree with the "getting your act together" tip. keep up with your grades to the best of your ability. it'll help your gpa and stress in the long run. + don't get too caught up in drama. relationship drama and friendship drama may be a HUGE deal to you know, but you can still meet people later on in life. things may stress you out or be hard in your high school years, but keep on. i believe in you!

Hey Incoming sophomores !! current sophomore here just to tell you that there is NOTHING to worry about. As long as you stay organized I cannot stress that enough. Organization and consistency is key to really breeze through sophomore year. Try to take at least one challenging class this year whether that’s honors or AP. And have fun ! Join as many clubs as you can since you will start to lose time to do a lot of these things.

As part of Class of 2022, I watched the “advice for high school juniors” video a couple weeks ago as well as some other videos from this channel, and this appeared in my recommended just now lmao. But I have to say, I really wish I watched this video back in 2019. It would’ve been really helpful. I already easily followed some of the advice mentioned here, but I also had to learn a lot of this the hard way-especially with the whole pandemic thing. So to the Class of 2023, follow all of the advice from this video and good luck!! :)

another piece of advice ~ sophomore year was the hardest year emotionally for me and most of my friends because you do a lot of maturing at that age interval, so i would recommend to not push yourself too hard if it really does feel like too much. i overexerted myself and it came back to bite me because i was miserable and stressed all the time. be sure to always take breaks when you feel yourself getting overwhelmed!! it's okay to allow yourself relaxing time
