"didn't get your way" WT programming. This has nothing to do with me "not getting my way" The WT violated their own teachings (associating with the UN and identifying themselves with the Harlot), false prophecies, pedophilia scandals, financial scandals, lies, etc etc. I am an apostate to the men of the WT! Proud of it. The men of the WT are not god, so I'm not worried about that.

I was raised in. So the only thing I knew about other religions was what the WT told me about them. The WT indoctrination program (free home "bible" study) is designed to make it seem like the WT has all the "correct" answers. Once fully indoctrinated, 'independent thinking" is demonized, outside information is demonized, etc. The WT then can change and do whatever it wants at will, and many JWs wont bat an eye. I'm just encouraging research, why do so many JWs see that as a threat?

Ironically it happens with the Catholics too...however, I was not a catholic, I was a JW. The Watchtower/governing body are responsible for these damaging policies and if you are a JW, you need to be aware and tell your governing body that it is not right. Innocent victims should be protected.....not just the reputation of the WT organization.

Please "verify and prove" with a scripture that says Jesus is mediator for a few. Or that man will be mediator. Without using the WT spin on things, just use the bible. I was gearing up to go back myself, when I too, finally researched my "religion" I would keep researching, learn about critical thinking, there is much information on that with a quick search. Learn about logical fallacies, the more you do, the more you can see the WT tricks being used on you. Learn about mind control, what defines it, and how to break free from it. Just keep researching this organization, the "truth" has nothing to hide from research, man made, does.

The biggest problem I see with the organization members is that they lay all their trust and confidence in the organization as if it was God/Jehovah. They really think this is God organization and doing any kind of research against the organization equates to doubting God himself. This is how the organization controls it's members. In all fairness, I observed that individuals DID get to question until they got baptized. After that, to raise questions was hardly encouraged and if you did so, you were viewed with a kind of suspicion. Keep asking & you get more suspicion. Certain questions could be raised after dedication, but really only with the elders. And you NEVER asked a question in a congregational study. If you did so, you'd get 'admonished' from the platform or they'd 'ask to see you' in the back room afterwards.

Did the meeting with the Circuit Overseer get confrontational? Sounded like it was getting a little heavy when he said, "...but I can tell you I'm the policy applier." I also was interested in his argument, "If there is some secret underbelly of the organization, they have totally faked me out." As if that's somehow offered as proof of the honesty of the organization. Yet when confronted with inconvenient truths, these guys will say, "We're just imperfect men." So clearly they CAN be faked out.

Yes, they are building their very own compound. Why take the time to do that, when the end is "so close" hmm? Once again, you can protest all you want, but it's in the magazines from your leaders. They eliminated the weekly book study and changed it to "family worship", thus eliminated the small groups. You seem to think you can say whatever you want, and no one knows any different. The problem is, the WT is a publishing company, we can read the words from them directly.

They will tell women who are being physically, sexually, and verbally abused and controlled by abusive husbands that they must stay with their husbands or be disfellowshipped. D., to the JWs or those sympathetic to the JWs who are answering you with "We DO study the bible." & "We do NOT discourage reading the bible alone.", I think they're employing a technicality of the argument. Of course a JW can pick up a bible and read it alone, I see the local JWs doing this all the time at McDonalds. The real issue is that to be a JW you may NOT prefer to study the bible alone & exclude the WTB&TS publications. You MUST study the WTB&TS publications to be a JW. It's their law!

@SANWorldwide No, the CO was telling me to ONLY listen to the WT side, (information control) not to pay attention to anything else. (we had a 2 1/2 hour convo) He called that listening to both sides. The bible tell us to examine EVERY..inspired..expression. Jehovah gives us permission to question, the WT does NOT allow you to question 2/15/81 WT for example, yet they themselves say they are NOT inspired and should be examined MORE closely than the bible. I examined, they fell apart.

They'll always do this, they'll start you with logical arguments such as "Would you not hear BOTH sides of the case?" Basically you trust imperfect men, over God. The bible says, if he is in charge of his prophets, there will be no error, that he would be in charge. That's how you would know it was from Him. Men say, "we are not infallible" saying their imperfections are more powerful than God. Basically it boils down to, you trust these men, more than you trust the bible. No matter how you argue it, that's what it is.

Good for you. I am a third generation witness. My Grandfather built the first Kingdom Halls in one major city. He was close personal friends with many of those old bastards on the governing body. They are revered and loved more than Christ himself. You do not go through Christ to get to the Father, you go through the Governing body. @Atti, what can those 8 men do to you? They can impose policies on your life which can have dire consequences. If you are a child and go to the elders of your congregation for help, the policy of having to have two witnesses to your abuse will mean that there will be no help for you. The elders are told NOT to report it to the authorities and the child will continue to be abused since child abusers make sure the child is alone when he abuses. There are many known cases of this.

I just wanted to add, that I failed to cite the entire verse: "In the world you will have tribulation (trouble) BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER; I have overcome the world." This is what our Lord Jesus says to us.He tells us to have a happy heart, in this sinful world! He has dealt with the problem of sin, forever! We need not fear the sins of the "worldly system" that the Jehovah Witnesses speak of - and, by the way ARE A PART OF. Our Lord Jesus took care of the problem of sin - our own sins and the sins of the world - once and for all, when He died as a sacrifice for sin, once and for all. Therefore, we have access to the FATHER when we place our trust in Him. What a wonderful life! What a wonderful life, with Jesus Christ at our side!

Dear Danmera, I was an elder in my congregation in India and I even used the Elders book. Now I returned the book after I got disfellowshipped in 2010. They was no such thing. Every thing is purely scriptural and I was an MTS graduate too. I know fully about the org and I know its Jehovah's earthly organization.

That's personally just one of the teachings I don't care about. You will find that many of us so called apostates are not attacking the belief. We are exposing the lies, deceptions, the criminal actions etc, of the WT. We are not even attacking the JWs. Even the WT says there is nothing wrong with exposing a false prophet as being false. That's what we are doing.
