@Kat Brown So we should all just start talking like morons? As a non-native speaker it always baffles me how much trouble Americans have with distinguishing "they're" from "their" and "there". It's like they just write down something that sounds like it, not looking at the logic behind the choice of the word.
@Cowz199993 жыл бұрын
@Kat Brown I think it's important to always write to the best of our ability. The they're/their/there and your/you're errors are way too common. Especially considering it's part of basic English, not exactly advanced English. I find it difficult to take people's arguments seriously when they make such basic mistakes. It invokes the idea this person does not read or write a lot and, and as you said, that this person is not very educated. We have a similar error in my mother tongue. Not exactly about confusing verbs with pronouns but still a very common error. It is customary to grade a student's test 0/10 should they make this error just once. Even if the test isn't about the language.

Tony is the perfect undercover. If his face wasn't flashed around for this, he'd be such a valuable asset to those facilities. He knows how things work, he knows how to make suspicious of him being undercover as small as possible, and he can handle himself physically.
