AE1200 WHD 'Casio Royale' Full Review. The best 25 bucks you can spend on a watch!

Slight correction: It's called the Casio Royale because of its similarity to the Seiko G757 watch Roger Moore wore in Octopussy. No link to Casino Royale, but as the name Casio is similar to that film title, the nickname stuck.

I dont like the bracelet but all versions of this watch are great. Casio nailed it with the AE1200WHs. I wear my AE1200WH-1AV Daily

I have seen some people put in on a brown leather strap. I must say it looks good on the strap. They use a 22mm size and cut out the end to fit the i8mm spring bars.

Thank you for this review on this watch. I like watches and enjoy buying watches under $50 that are great value. In Australia this watch would cost about $38 AU brand new which looks like good value. Yes it would be difficult to change out the bracelet. May have to modify a bracelet to fit in the lugs. I have subscribed.

You can get watch strap adapters that take a 20 or 22mm strap, however they are usually designed for gshocks so I am not sure if they also fit the ae1200. I got my Royale on eBay for less than £10 with a heavily scuffed crystal. 2 minutes with a cloth and some poly watch and it looks brand new. However it started a Casio habit - an ae1000 followed, an f91w, an a168 and I just bought an ae2100 yesterday! Now just need a reasonably priced Duro and I think I can relax for a while

Pedro Ghattas I think doing sport while wearing it on bracelet is a huge no. Coz it will catch your wrist hair (if you have a hairy arm such as me). So swapping the bracelet for a rubber strap is better. I'll do a video on a super cheap replacement silicone strap I got for this watch soon. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for the question man!

Mustafa Almula I think you should push the top left button. And after that scroll the items you want to adjust using the bottom left button. To adjust the date push either one of the right side buttons
