This episode of the Good Timekeeping Show is an in-depth review of the Casio AE1200WHD watch. This watch is often called the "Casio Royale" watch because it looks a lot like a watch worn by James Bond in the 1983 movie Octopussy. But the watch in the movie was actually a Seiko watch. Here's a brief article about the Seiko watch used by James Bond in 1983. www.jamesbondli...

As for this Casio watch, it has some great features like a map of the world to help you check out different time zones. It has 5 alarms plus the hourly "chime" signal. It has a 24-hour stopwatch and a 24-hour countdown timer. There's a pretty, amber-colored backlight. It's accurate to within 30 seconds per month (but, unofficially, I find it to be accurate to within 10 seconds per month). It's water-resistant to 100 meters and it's powered by a lithium CR2025 battery which should last about 10 years.
It's a good-looking watch and it's inexpensive. Typically, you'll see it for less than $30 and, as of the date I recorded this video, it was less than $23 at Amazon.com.
