Should have left him lay for another 45mins and kept on calling. Benefit of an airgun! I shot 2 yoties last night back to back, with my 25 maverick. First one at 135 and 5-10 mins later I shot a second one at 95 yards

I noticed the magazine was fully wound in works fine. When it is half full it more likely breaks

I guess it's not the magazine's problem, HP gun needs to pull a distance after the hammer cocking . Like this it can completely pull out the magazine and let it rotate

Yea, with my adrenaline going I may have messed up the cocking, then the cold weather only finished it off. Either way, I need a stronger one.

Shouldn't cost that much more to make the housing of the magazine out of aluminium like it is made for the Artemis pr900w for example. Interesting to see your struggles during this Hunt, thanks for sharing even though it didn't go as smooth as one would like or perhaps especially because it didn't go as smooth as one would like. Thanks! That's the way hunting goes, struggling, cold, working through problems. Video recording make everything 3x even harder. But it worked out. I'm going to try and find a solution to the mag problem.

I tested in my r5m at 940fps it was .39. My maverick is .41 at 1020fps, I think.

Quite an entertaining video even though you did not capture a clear first shot of the coyote going down. Strange, somehow this video had the feeling of a documentary more than just another air gun hunt. I have to give you props for going out there in that cold weather, I couldn't do it out in the open like that. I myself have Fox issues killing all the rabbits on my property, I am looking into getting myself a 30 caliber air rifle, but the prices of them have been high till now since AeA is making affordable High caliber air rifles. I like to get one with the same design as the one you use in this video, but it needs to be a side lever cocking it makes it easier for me to make a follow-up shot.

Yea, it was a really nice thick coat! I knew I had to something. I skinned it and turned it into my taxidermist. I was thinking a blanket or something. I am going to mouth a coyote one day, this was a little small, only 26lbs.

Well, some of the challengersI had I fixed o rings. But really not bad for the price. Not, precision but easily hunt worthy. That AEA MAX I really like. I'm going to solve the mag issue and keep it. Small light and very powerful.

I understand your frustration with the magazine failing on you during an active hunt. But your gun is functional and reliable so i think you should hold off on selling the gun. Try another magazine and meanwhile talk to Bin and see if his manufacturer can make an all metal mag. These guns are becoming popular and I believe a market will develop to create 3D printed polymer mags or some material better than the current OEM stock.

That is is a EZ shoot cheap scope. 30mm, I got the scope in a trade. I didn't know much about it. In 4x it is crystal clear. I wascaxshame the footage did not turn out

Hang in there young man and be patient I shoot a single shot handload the pellet. I just started hunting coyote with an air gun but only God knows how many coyotes have killed with a real gun a powder burner. AAAARRRGHHHH!!!!! You beat me to the punch...but nice man, real nice. BUT...dude, mags fail. It happens with any mag out there. Especially in 18 degree weather. I can see if the rifle itself had a fail and made it unsafe, untrustworthy. It did the job and you can't knock it for a mag shattering. Sure, it's not a 1000.00+ rifle, but it's just a mag.

@@easternblocairguns2728 Original mag from cheap plastic easily becomes brittle in the cold just like your knife. I use to buy plastic with cold degree ratings. You most likely need to replace the plastic with another material Congrats on the hunt.

I have had TWO Challenger .25 Magazines EXPLODE , and on only 3/4 Power, firing 36gr DeepHP slugs, sized at 0.250. they glide flawless into breach, it IS a magazine FAILURE, and GLAD i had on glasses. TWO, and NO, the bolt was not 'partially up' as i had already heard THIS PROBLEM.... I printed a Benjamin Marauder .25 SIngle SHot Tray and I modified it a little with a dremel to fit. YES< it SUCKS that a magazine fails TWICE in 5--f weather, not even on full power. Now doe the SHATTED mag clear cover, SUPER laibility!!! I have taken apart some gauntlet .25cal magazines and will be modifying them to see if they can handle the pressure. THe gauntlet 25, it is regged at 2150psi per shot with a 23ci tank and shimmed hammerspring, the magazines in three years NEVER failed. SO, perhaps a couple hours more of time into GAUNTLET magazine and modify sort of like you do with a Marauder Pistol and use the ten round rifles mag in .22 cal to increase from 8 to ten shots.I just watched your VIDEO as I have one arriving this next couple days - 357HP MAX, then i see your video, it has SAME Issue mag covers. How bad was your explosions? mine ricocheted off my glasses into the brush, and only found half of the 2nd EXPLODING ASA mag.

My mag just cracked then fell apart. I was really not sure what had happened. If I did not cock it fully with the adrenaline, or bump it while I was walking through the woods earlier, or it just cracked because it was cold and the first shot vibrations broke it.

@@easternblocairguns2728 its not the mags or the gun, its the breech oring that you dont have that causes aea mags to blowup. its always the breech seal. if you crack or blow a mag up check your oring...or lack there of
