I have an AEA 457. Max SS. Absolute tack driver. No issues with it whatsoever. Love this weapon, love shooting it. I think my next one will be The varmint, or the carbine. Something a bit smaller 25 cal,more backyard friendly. With a DFL Ronan moderator this 457. is still very loud.

Hey Eastern Bloc, i just bought a brand new HP max 357 two days ago. It arrived with the manometer needle on “50”. Two days later, the needle fell just below “50”. I had a semi auto AEA .25!a while back and sold it because of constant leaks. I hope yours is holding air. Mine seems to have a tiny leak. I filled it up to 3000 psi today and i hope the higher air pressure will make a difference. .

Mine does not leak. Sorry you got the small leak. But, it a simple gun, there can't be to many orings that can leak.

@@easternblocairguns2728 iv got (lcs-sk-19 30cal) luv it ,,, i understand semi auto is now in 357 and they just made one 457 ,, yes im looking into picking up and setting up sum AEA this gun is low cost also has a semi auto counter part i believe tho this model has the lever and allows higher calibers and is more power-full them the semi auto.. i like them all i all ways way out the options wen picking a gun. this seems like a must have,,, my SK19 semi and full auto, only jammed once wen the left sided door blew open hit me in the chin wen it back fired it was fun,,lol,, trying hollow fully cupped griffin slugs ,they moved slightly in the magazine, i tired a few different ones and brands and just stick with 50G jsb pellets i cleaned it a few times thing works great ,, yes a lot going on,, aea has a great line up of guns like you could easy grab 3 or 4 aea guns i see a lots of options having 1 or 2 a must have

I got gun about 10 days ago. Great gun so far. Likes 81 gr pellets and using some nsa 79 gr slugs shooting good groups too. Not backyard friendly sound wise without moderator, I've got emperor donny fl and extension on it quiets the bark down quite a bit. Plan using on som nuisance beaver jobs or some unlucky coyotes.

If the AEa is bolt action, you have to make sure your bolt is locked, if so you won’t receive and blowback of air pressure escaping out the loading breach

Don't let that make u miss out on the fun bro. I slid a felt chair footy on it. Fits perfectly and takes the blow out of any bumping I do it. Also, they sell a 52mm clamp w a cute little pic rail on the bottom of it to mount any type of furniture that'd fit on it. Primarily I'd think a bipod would be fitting, which is what I have on mine. 💪🏾

I've been out at the range twice with it. I'm in the process of tuning it. I only look for a 30fps less spread with it. I think I can get four, maybe five. Worst case only three.

I see your airgun does about 100fpe. Will it do the advertised 150fpe with heavy ammo? I ask because your 100fpe is nice but still miles away from 150fpe. I'm very tempted to buy it :-)

Some guns seem to be less power than they should. I'm shooting in cold weather. Bin tested his gun with 150 grain slugs to hit 150fpe in room temp, I tested with 97grain pellets 35 degree temp.
