AEM Cold Air Intake Installation + Sound (2019-2021 MK7 Volkswagen Jetta)

Hello, in this video, we are gonna show you how to install the AEM cold air intake for 2019-2021 Volkswagen Jetta. This instruction will also apply for the Volkswagen Audi cars that have 1.4 TSI(EA211) Engine(example Audi A3, Golf, Jetta, Passat, Tiguan with VW 1.4 TSI EA211 Engines). I couldn't find an easy installation tutorial on KZbin.. So here I've created one for those of you who need help installing this awesome AEM cold air intake, and there is a sound test just before the end of this video. So, don't miss that part! After the installation, the sound is just amazing, and AEM is saying that this cold air intake system will increase maximum 7 horsepower and maximum 11.9 lb-ft. We just love how it sounds compare this to the stock air filter. Let's go ahead and do it!

I did this on my 2016 and it was amazing. The thing growls and whooshes. Turbo blow off is so loud its hilarious. I went with Integrated Engineering, would definitely recommend them.

What about the old PCV valve on the oe box filter ? How does this affect the engine ?

Do you have any vibration in the gas pedal around 2k rpm? I just installed an intake on my 1.4t and I have some vibration whenever I accelerate between 2k and 2.5k rpm

I really did not notice it on the pedal, but I did notice more vibration troughout the front dash. I thought it is normal with this cold air intake.

This is for the 1.4 engine. I believe that there is one for 2.0 engine too

It has been running fine but I did remove it lately because of the the noise. I like the quite ride. If you like loud acceleration sound, this is a great cold air intake
