Where can I get a sound reduction enclosure? I sent this question to Vitamix and receive an email reply that there is NO sound enclosure. I was told Vitamix does not make one. What gives. I am watching this video which shows two sound enclosures in use. Why was I told differently that what I can plainly SEE?? Vitamix makes a sound enclosure for at lease two of it’s blenders! So where can I get one for my blender?? I am going to be moving into an assisted living a facility and if I use my blender three times a day, there are sure to be noise complaints! Help, please?!??!!

With the cost of the commercial product, you could probably try some foam or configure some type of sound reduction setup. If the neighbor's raise a stink, invite them over for a smoothie, and that should shut them up, right? Maybe.

What would the speed be on a consumer model machine

Great question! If you are using a household Vitamix unit, you would want to run your machine at the highest speed for the Strawberry Lemonade recipe and you would run your machine at a Variable 4 for a pourable foam, or Variable 6 for a stiffer foam for the second recipe.
