Can you please do a tutorial on how to start inverting in the air, I can do it on the floor, but it’s really hard for me to do it in the air, same with scissors in the air...
@aerialesteem4 жыл бұрын
It’s really a progression based skill and doing conditioning is going to be one of the best things to help. I would use the knot and practice your invert in it for starters working towards completely deadlifting rather than springing off of the floor at all. A great way to start this is to bring the knees to the chest and push the your poles forward so that you go backwards. (see my knot tutorial) Do sets of 10 without putting your feet down in between each set. Once you can do that, try it with soles of the feet together (frog legs) and then move on to straddle legs. Then, instead of using the knot, invert from the ground using the same progressions, and not jumping off of the floor at all. Once you don’t need the floor to spring off of, you will mostly likely be able to invert in the air. 👍💪

Can you teach like aerial lessons like on zoom or something I would love to do that I have silks
@aerialesteem2 жыл бұрын
Oh I appreciate the request! I am a very hands on teacher and even though I make these tutorials, when I teach a class, I do a lot of spotting. I haven’t given much thought as to how to do grand scale Zoom lessons or privates. I will give it some thought.

Hey can you possibly make a double star tutorial I’ve been needing help
@aerialesteem4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I replied to this already but my comment didn’t post so here goes again! What part do you feel like you need help with? The set up or dropping it so that it feels comfortable and controlled? One of the first things to check is where your initial wrap is sitting. Ideally you want it at your weighted center point. If it is too high on the waist, often times it will cause the legs to drop heavily giving a flip flop sensation while dropping. I like to set my wrap around my hip bones. Secondly, if you have an arch in your back, it will make the drop feel uncontrolled. It is important to engage the legs, glutes and core. Think about pulling your belly button to your spine and tightening your abs like you are doing a small crunch. Keep tension in the legs and activate the glutes. This will keep your body firm and you will drop more evenly. Let me know if you have more questions! It will be awhile before I can do a double star tutorial as I have already filmed my next batch of uploads.

Wow that's a cool combination! I would have loved to see it fluently without the talking at the beginning

Glad you like the combo! Thank you for your feedback. I will consider adding a “demo” video before the tutorial portion for future videos. 🙏

Hi Gracie , TJ , AJ’s dad . How are you doing young lady ? Very nice to see you on your “poles “ . Gracie ever think of narrating you vids in studio? Then you wouldn’t get the gym sound . Your still our beautiful Gracie , stop by when your in town . TJ

Hey! Thank you ☺️ Moving forward I will likely do that, or get a headset because I like giving intuitive cues in the moment. I’ve been doing my best to adjust the echo with the audio but I’m new to video editing! All of my upcoming videos are already pre-recorded from pre-covid but I’ve gotten the same feedback several times so I will do my best to have better audio moving forward after I finish editing all the ones I’ve already filmed. Good to hear from you!
