Aerial view of a bridge going up

Aerial view of bridge 11 in Allanburg, Thorold as is going up on June 6, 2024, so Frontenac can passed underneath the bridge. There’s only three bridges of this type still being use in the Welland canal. The other two are bridge 5 in St. Catharines and bridge 21 in Port Colborne. It’s a vertical bridge that was constructed and completed in 1930.
