No we didn't. Did we need to? I didn't think so. Our unit falls under the weight minimum to require it to be licenced. It was a state park here though, that didn't occur to us to ask about it there. National parks in Canada restrict their usage. So if we flew it and we weren't supposed to...oops. We learn as we go and tend not to fly it in busy areas. The drone itself has software that won't let it fly if we are near restricted areas like airports. We haven't flown it in quite a while.

@gothatawaychrisandsandra I just read online we are not allowed to fly in state parks in tennessee, I went there recently and flew anyway
