Aerith is the most broken character in FF7 Remake

They buffed synergy materia on ps5 and add that with arcane ward and you can do crazy stuff like this. I have no idea why he doesnt stagger in the second phase. It's likely a bug because sometimes he does stagger there and it feels random Im glad it exists though or you wouldnt be able to to do this crazy juggle

@@taknayu dude this entire game is like first 10% of the original game. she dies way later. also its not because they change the plot a tiny bit that they will change the ENTIRE STORY, they are just tweaks to make it more engaging for more modern audiences. if they did change the entire plot then they shouldn't call it a remake. cannonically she dies, and the story we have so far didnt change much of the original its just very awkward how they made things that happens later happen waay earlier, just like how yuffie appears way later but she appears now with a moogle costume for some reason. if they didnt kill aerith it wouldnt make sense i even have proof: ITS A REMAKE, if you are going to change it its just not a remake. also it just made sense for her to die in the original as she was the last of the cetra so for her prayer to be heard she had to die, as seen in the literal ending to the og ff7, of any of this is changed then its just not a remake.

@@JunDageki In terms of attack and defense, yes, Tifa lacks a notable strong offensive like the other characters, adding that she can't withstand a lot punishment from the enemies. Without count that to be a martial artist, Tifa must to get more closer to the enemies than the other characters, to attack. Her only advantage, is be the fastest character, making her only effective if you know how to chains long combos, otherwise, Tifa is weak for single attacks.

@@josecuestas7246 Actually in-game, I consider Tifa to be high tier in both offense and survivability. Her speed stat is naturally the highest so she builds atb faster than anyone else to actually use abilities. Not only that but with parry materia, she can animation cancel certain moves to greatly enhance her effectiveness. For example, her uppercut move builds slighty more than half an ATB bar on hit, so its good at building ATB. However, the entire animation takes a while to complete, but you cancel the rest of the animation by using the parry materia and using the parry dodge the moment the uppercut hits. This can be repeated quickly to make tifa have 2 full atb bars in about 3-4 seconds. Her parry dodge is also extremely fast in general, spamming it mindlessly makes it very easy to simply avoid maybe 80ish percent of all attacks in the game which is why Tifa actually has insane surviability despite her low heath pool and defense stats, it doesn't matter since she can just avoid all damage. She is also arguably the best at raising the stagger bar. Her ability focused strike builds a moderate amount of stagger on pressured enemies, and refunds around half of its ATB cost on a successful hit, but it has a lengthy animation. But that animation can also be canceled by parry materia. This turns Focused Strike into an extremely potent stagger builder since not only does it essentially cost half an atb bar, but it hits very quickly and repeatedly when used in conjunction with parry materia. And obviously Tifa is amazing when enemies are staggered due to being able to provide a 105% stagger damage bonus with 2 true strikes, and her unbridled strength moves. Her starshower ability also increases the damage of whatever next ability you use by 70%, including limit breaks. Her level 2 limit is actually the hardest hitting limit break in the game already and can be buffed to do 70% more damage which is pretty insane, and easily outclasses all other limit breaks in terms of damage. Tifa also brings greatly utility to the party through the ATB assist materia which grants the other 2 party members around half an atb bar when the user uses two different ATB abilities right after each other. Tifas focused strike ability essentially costs half an atb bar which makes it great to use for ATB assist materia and using another atb ability like unbridled strength right after focused strike will allow her to give half an ATB bar to both of her party members. Taking into account how quickly Tifa builds her own ATB, she can abuse ATB assist materia to great effect to help build ATB for her other party members while they sit back relatively untargeted by the enemy and have their atb charges filled without having to do much themselves.

I don't think tifa is that weak, she has the highest dps and the only character that could increase stagger damage. If anything cloud would be the weakest offensively, the only advantage he have over others was parrying and in this game parry doesn't negate the damage, it just gives cloud super armor and then counter them.

@@CrnaStrela I would say that barret is the weakest offensively, he has the slowest speed stat so it takes him longer to get ATB to use abilities, and he has the worst magic attack, and 2nd lowest physical attack stats of the party. While cloud has the 2nd highest magic and physical attack stats. Clouds parry capabilities boost his dps by a decent margin because they allow him to still deal damage to the enemy while they're hitting you while other characters have to stop attacking to block/dodge so they'd be losing out on dps then. Punisher mode counter also restores about 80% of an atb bar on use, so countering helps you use damaging abilities faster. Punisher mode counter and counterstance can be chained infinitely against barrages of attacks without you being interrupted as long as you have enough ATB (And remember punisher counter restores 80% of an ATB bar) as cloud has super armor for a short period even after he hits his opponent with the counter. Very good against Buhamats frenzy assualt which has like 10 attacks, Cloud can literally parry all 10 hits in a row.

@@Trisaaru It's more than his stats. He doesn't have the physical dps tifa does and no where near the magic dps aerith does. But more than that, it's their kit. Tifas physical and aeriths magical kit is absurd. At least in my opinion cloud is just a better tank than barret Tifa doesn't need a counter, when her parry slide is godlike. She's better at building pressure and stagger. And most broken of all she can increase stagger damage percent bonus. Aerith is self explanatory. She is a powerhouse. What truly makes her broken is arcane ward and synergy. Having aerith cast spells for free is the most broken thing in the game. Even aeriths level 1 spells hit like a truck and having her be in arcane ward she can hit you twice for free. Completely breaking even hard mode since, as you can see in this video, you can be casting tons of spells with very little mp.

Aerith also trolls the tomberry hard. It tries to use its 1 hit ko twice from a distance but because of her flower barriers stopping it, it gets so mad it uses scourge once then the other attack just to get cock locked again. I never found a way to block scourge but the fact i can just use barrier on aerith and barett to keep them alive and not waste 3x the mana is great

the synergy materia was buffed in intergrade. So having cloud with synergy and aero means every time aerith casts aero cloud also casts it. and if theyre both int he arcane ward then you get 4 casts every time

Okay so you will want to equips the aero materia and the synergy materia into a linked slot on cloud. And have aerith with aero as well. Now every time aerith casts arrow cloud will also cast aero. So if you are in Aeriths arcane ward aerith will cast aero twice and so will cloud giving you four casts of aero to juggle enemies with. I do this in the second phase of ruses fight to juggle him like crazy. This partially only works because of a bug in This fight where sometimes his stagger bar won’t fill in the second phase which means he will just stay pressured and you can keep pelting him with Aeros. Give it a try on him or any enemy with synergy aero and see how crazy it gets
