so if this is a new modern LJ why doesn't it have winglets like all the new planes are appearing with. they are supposed to help performance and reduce wingtip drag etc..?????

Nice Collins avionics up front, and finally the FGP is on the glareshield, unlike the Honeywell Primus of the past Citations. Well appointed interior. This airplane is not a direct competitor of the Phenom, though Brazilian, Phenoms are completed in Florida. A direct competitor to the Phenom would be a Mustang, or the original CJ, and may be the defunct Eclipse 500. The CJ4 is much more airplane than a VLJ. Just saying.
