My glider just arrived at the harbor in Houston. I will pick it up tomorrow. Then there is plenty of time in Uvalde to fly my AS33 Me there and make some more videos about new and investing gliders. Looking forward to see the JS5 and Nixus.

Just curious, if you have a glider license, can you fly a small plane without a normal plane license?

No, that´s not allowed. You will need to make a plane license. Of course it will be much easier to fly a plane as a glider pilot.

It’s not a glider even if it has ONE engine.

From the definition it is still a glider as long as it is certified as glider. In this case I would say the use case is powered flying and the jets are not retractable. But still it is great to see and for the purpose of a night airshow, it´s a fantastic glider!
