I have this machine in my aero club so it's nice for practice purpose to have it in the sim. But I agree it's slightly on the expensive side.

AerofoilLabs are great dev,s but in MSFS2020 there is a big competition, Sure they have done a few great add-ons for XPL but I'm kind of disappointed with this one. Let's see what more AerofoilLabs can offer in a later time. Thank you for an informative video, stay safe.

It really is the price that's the stickler. There's nothing wrong with aiming for "like default, but a bit better", which is what this plane seems to be. I can dig that, but i'm not so sure i want to pay 20 bux for another small GA that's "a bit better than default". If they were asking 15, i think people would be more interested, and if they asked 10, i think a lot of people would gladly grab it for their collection.

Thank you, lovely video on a Saturday morning :) I have both the Sting S4 and the Vans RV-14, so obviously no good reason to get the B23, as much as I want to support 3rd party devs.

Thank you! 💙 Pretty sure this was less then 20% of the work Fenix or PMDG invested into their products and therefore it's overpriced. Wouldn't it be logic to divide the product categories more? Logic as the market leaders set the price for high end... 60€/$/? studylevel complex in airliners, the midrange 30€/$/? studylevel in small airframes and base models (with MSFS standards nonetheless with an Minimum Equipment expected...-> "functional and pretty") of 5-15€/$/? Looking at the userbase with many young gamers on XBOX it's ridiculous and harmful for the platform to charge that much. And with airports it's an even bigger problem... Some devs really have no idea of markets...

Totally agree! I think Asobo have done a good job of pricing their planes at a consistent $15. Hopefully other devs begin to catch on. I might consider this plane for $10, but not worth it's current price. Airport add-ons should definitely take a similar route!

YEah, these guys built a strong name in Xplane so I was expecting something special when I heard they had released their first MSFS addon. Then I read the reviews and impressions and was genuinely suprised in a bad way. Have they not been paying attention to what their competitors are releasing? Truth is that with a bigger market and in a different sim, many potential buyers will not be familiar with this developer's brand and so now their first impression is going to be poor. Or at least poorer than it should have been. Here's hoping their next addon is better.

I just found your channel and I have to say it's very enjoyable to watch your FS adventures... liked the Beech 18 into that remote Alaskan strip with the crosswind white knuckler you did... I was laughing at your running commentary...I'm a retired USN Tomcat driver from waaay back . Had a few 'interesting' landings in my career... too much fun.... still miss it even now...

Cool video as always , glad to see you didn't get the ground handling problems that i got when i first flew it . Still not sure what that was about but i re-installed the sim again so maybe that has sorted it . I will have to have another look .

It is a welcomed aircraft. I love LSA because they are the type of aircrafts I fly in real life (with gliders). Externally OK, but yes, it is not so greath in interiors, and that's a shame because in MSFS they could work better with PBR materials. Hope the flight model is good, but from Airfoillabs I would pretend much, more options. Their aircrafts in XP11 are stunning, this one is middle range. However I love the Bristell and I will buy it, together with the Sting S4 that looks much better with lot of options.

Great review even if it is a meh offering. I think the only thing going for it is the custom sounds, not reusing the VL3 like every other rotax plane (that's my only sore point with the Sting).

Seems a little lackluster to me. Maybe they'll improve some of the features in the future. Will you be taking a first look at the Black Square Velocity XL? Glass cockpit but it's a fast canard. Have you reviewed any canards yet?

Tbh, expect a bit more for 20 pounds. MSFS can handle lower price points because the market is much bigger, a lot of devs seem to be stuck in the niche market = higher prices mentality. Get better sales, especially on Xbox, with lower prices.

I post reviews for everything I get for the sim, Most of the stuff I review I don't fly again... I usually buy things exclusively to review, I only fly a certain few that are my personal style.

another good video I must say and it has landing gear feature up and down I beleive and try the G key the gear will come down though it be odd since this aircraft has fixed gear.

I believe its fixed gear or it wouldn't have wheel pants? :S

@@AvAngel someone else tested and they hit G or whatever key they had binded and it made a gear sound and airspeed effected lol
