Shishito Peppers growing in Mufga Hydroponics System - 4 plants | Indoor Hydroponics Gardening

I'm currently 65 days into a 2 plant grow with this variety of pepper and can't believe how prolific it is. If half the flowers pollinate and develop it will give me more peppers than I'll know what to do with! I'll probably pickle some and stir fry them. I started with AG nutrients but switched to GH MaxiBloom when flowering started and it's full of peppers now. This is a great variety to grow, especially for the first timer. Easy to maintain and very productive! Thanks, great video as always. Happy AeroGardening. 😄

I'm doing this right now what caps are you using my aerogarden ones don't fit

Those caps came with other hydroponics systems like SpiderFarmer, AHopeGarden, etc. Yeah, Aerogarden cover won't fit Mufga. As an alternative, golf balls work very well as they are heavy enough to stay in place and block the light very well.

Where did you find plugs for the unused holes that fit this unit?

Those are the plugs from my other hydroponics systems like AHopeGarden and Spider Farmer. I couldn't find the Mufga compatible hole covers available in the market and Mufga doesn't include any. As an alternative, golf are the best.

I am using some of the covers came with my iDoo and other systems. I wish all systems include some covers for unused holes.

I am learning so much ! I think I am going to buy some of the Shishito peppers now. They are rather mild in taste, aren‘ t they ?

They have excellent pepper flavor, but (luckily) none of them are spicy. I don't feel like they are even mild.

they're pretty mild, tho every now and you'll get a spicier one. even then, they're maybe jalepeno hot.

Shishito plants can live up to ten years.

Love the video. I appreciate you explaining cutting the tops of the pepper plants - I see people talking about this all the time but was not sure what they were referring to. Do you cut the tops of your other plants too? Eg cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes?

I cut the tops of cucumbers and egg plants. I don't cut the tops on cherry tomato plants, but the non-cherry varieties.
