They can be 3D printed actually if you know anyone in your family/community that could assist you with this. I would suggest learning how hydroponic farming works, this particular setup this company is advertising is steep, but if you have a grasp on the subject I don't think it's a 'you're getting hosed' price but it is steep and I'm assuming that's due to initial start up costs of the company etc, but for the product and what it does the cost is steep there's no denying it, and you won't want to spend that much going into a subject you don't fully grasp. It's beneficial over the ground especially for people who do not have the luxury of a garden bed or land to utilise. I've produced so many greens where I was giving bags away, day of, just to make more room because they won't stop growing (cut and come again lettuce etc). I like hydroponic farming because I like to coast by in life and this suits my life style :) and the benefits are if you're growing indoors the oxygen they produce and the food itself is a plus, it's a good feeling growing your own food especially grabbing fresh ingredients footsteps away from your kitchen... I simply grow in a container like Nicole's setup, but instead of an technical approach via Aerogarden I bought a black container from the dollar store that holds water and drilled out 2" holes for net cups I then placed seedlings inside the net cup with a cut up pool noodle to support the seedling and placed an Amazon/Wish LED shop light on a $5 electrical outlet timer set to 16 hours on, 8 hours off and I've been growing so far; Lettuce (iceberg/romaine/summertime/prizehead), Basil, Cantaloupe, Broccoli, Mint, Spinach. It costs me maybe $5/month to run the LED light and I bought a 1L jug of AeroGarden nutrients that has to be about 2/3rds full and is over a year old still growing what I need. I use a teaspoon to measure the water I don't even own a Ph kit. I just hope they grow lol at this point I may have a green thumb. That's my story anyways.

There is no soil inside the tower, only water mixed with nutrients is located in the bottom reservoir. There is a pump that irrigates the plants intermittently.

Es mejor cultivar en tierra, investiguen los nutrientes que aporta la tierra a tus vegetales v/s hidropónico Es un sistema novedoso pero si deseas una buena alimentación se recomienda 100% cultivo en tierra directo o maceta asegurando que tú sustrato (tierra) tenga lo necesario para que tús vegetales crezcan bien 💪 y así tú estés comiendo lo mejor de lo mejor. (Si decides sembrar en maceta 🪴 guarda tus cáscara de huevo 🥚 las lavas y las dejas secar luego las mueles (polvo) y lo aplicas a tus macetas. Lo mismo con las cáscaras de plátano 🍌 etc . Las casacaras de huevo no son asimilables de esa forma por la planta, tardan muchisimo tiempo para eso y no es eficiente de esa forma, yo te recomiendo que las dejes remojar en jugo de limón 24 a 48 hrs y el jugo que salga la mezcla con agua de esa manera aplicas el calcio que necesita la planta y asimilable. Hay muchos tutoriales que indican que la cáscara de huevo es buena y si esta bien solo que hay que investigar más y no dejarse llevar por los videos que miramos en KZbin, te recomiendo que hables con un Ingeniero químico son muy buenos

Depending on the stage of growth/ growing conditions.. you can pop a timer on to run the pump .. main thing is to keep pH in a viable place & not make the feeding solution to strong ☹️ Then you can mess about with how often , you could probably run this type of system all day long if you wanted 👍 or 3 15 min feeds a day , there's really no "correct" way imo 🤔
