I just brew with 2 standard at a time. Great for those 2 GO travel sizes.

So it would be helpful to know how much water each of the 3 models hold
@crankshaftculture6 ай бұрын
The XL holds about 20 oz. Regular should be about 8 oz. AeroPress Go is about the same.

it's a shame that the seller replaced the classic's accessories for a higher price at overseas. doesn't include funnel, filter holder, and only 100 filters included....

Same in USA, no funnel, no filter case and less filters, it's a rip off now and almost doubled in price in 14 years......

Thanks for the video! I just had a chuckle at the outrage I imagined the AeroPress purists would experience if they see your video, haha. Not that there’s a wrong way to brew coffee if you like the way it tastes, but adding water without a weighting it, and squeezing the water out of the puck, they’d go bananas lol. Cheers!

How does the Go fit with different mugs and cups? The rim is different from the original one. Could you explain?
@crankshaftculture9 ай бұрын
The Go seems to fit all cups a standard AeroPress fits.

I recently came from the AP 'GO" to the XL, I'm having problems getting the brew in the XL to taste as good as in the GO, I'm doing 300ml to 21G, in the GO I would do a bypass and water at the end, now I'm doing all the 300 in one and it's quite muted by comparison. Have you been experiencing anything similar and any suggestions on a fix? (I'm also using the inverted method btw)
@crankshaftculture Жыл бұрын
I can't say I've had any noticeable change in taste between the XL and classic or Go. Maybe we need to do a side-by-side taste test?

I'd worry about the availability of the large filters; everyone sells the normal size ones. And, if I wanted a metal filter with holes I'd do French Press so hard pass on their metal filter.

can you make Vietnamese coffee with this?
@crankshaftculture10 ай бұрын
I'm not sure; I haven't tried!
@ebikecnx72393 ай бұрын
Yes, if you grind coarser and use gravity drip. You can if you experiment with grind size.

Im annoyed with the fact that the filters dont batch between the xl and the regular

While it would've been nice, I'm not sure how they could've made more coffee without increasing the filter and entrie cofee maker diameter. I guess they could have kept the same diameter tube but just made it taller. That being said, the XL is already 19" tall. I can't imagine hall tall it'd have to be if they didn't make it wider.

No scale?!
@crankshaftculture Жыл бұрын
Yes, a scale! I measured out 50g of whole-bean coffee before grinding (see 07:30). I didn't show the process of measuring the beans, however.
@waylandchin Жыл бұрын
@@crankshaftculture so you use the scale for the beans but not the water?!
@crankshaftculture Жыл бұрын
@@waylandchin I know how much water I'm using in fluid ounces and weigh the beans accordingly.

@@crankshaftculture if you doing the inverted method, the volume of your chamber will change slightly each time, so you can’t really rely on the lines to eyeball it
