fun fact: not long after this video Liv's career kicked into high gear and Aerosmith couldn't really afford to shoot her in their videos anymore. The reason she is in "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" is because the song and video were paid for by the movie folks.

Steven Tyler hits his highest note in the song, a Soprano E. He hits in his famous falsetto, but this time his tone is very clean! Don't know if anyone catches that. I wanted to point that out. And he holds it for a long time, which is very hard for a note that is so high. That's one of the impressive things about his vocal deliveries.

"Is it that easy ladies?" Of course it is. And we men don't even hide that fact. I remember when this video came out. I was about 13 or 14. I knew then that I'd absolutely let those two steal a few items if it got me that set of photos. And I knew then that it would be a day I'd never forget. Thank you so much for doing the whole trilogy. Those videos are awesome for so many reasons. They brought Aerosmith back to the top. You have to keep in mind that this was 20 years after "Dream on". They jump started the careers of Alicia Silverstone, Liv Tyler and I think some of the guys who were in them. And it is like you said. Those are mini movies. It was the height of MTV and music videos. The surprise endings that nobody saw coming, especially in the second video. I could go on and on, but the music and the videos speak for themselves.

Hey! first coments! That's a first too. "Angel", Living on the Edege" and "Janie's Got a Gun". Lyrics, pay attention to lyrics, you-won´t-re-gret-it. Btw, that's his daughter, Liv Tyler.

I have loved all these songs since they were released. I never heard they were linked and I never saw the relevance in them or even thought about it. Also another good one with Steven's daughter, Liv... is "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", based on the 90's hit movie" Armageddon" that she also co-starred in with so many other great actors! They have so many good songs! I hope you get around to them all soon. "The Other Side", "Blind Man", "Deuces Are Wild", "What It Takes", "Love In An Elevator", "Angel", "Livin' On The Edge", "Janie's Got A Gun", "Dude Looks Like a Lady", "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion", "Rag Doll", "Come Together" (Beatles cover).

For hardcore. A- Smith fans this, though high charting (early 90's) is when they went downhill into glossy pop cheese Power Ballad's. They have many ballad's from 70's and Eighties , way way more greasy, haunting and soulful. Here's is a complete list. 1) "Seasons of Wither" (74) 2) "You See me Crying" {75} 3) " Home Tomight" (76) 4) "Mia" (79) 5)" Joanie's Butterfly" (82) 6) " Darkness" (85) 7) " Angell" (87) 8) "What it Takes" (89) 9) "Dueces Are Wild" (Pump outake) BTW their best post 70's -80's album is hands down " Just Push Play" circa 01 (with the unnesscary addition of cheese ball ballad " Fly Away Home") Fantastic ballads on album " Avant Garden" 🔥 & "Jaded" (sort of Ballad) Suggesting start with " Season Of Wither" reaction!! Night and day to this saccharine " Get A Grip" Trilogy.

That "Get A Grip" tour had to be one of the best. I thoroughly enjoyed it up front center at Jones Beach Long Island, New York... Was great. I remember friends going to see them in the 70's when Dream On came out and I wasn't allowed cuz I was too young in 74😞 So I made up for it later Haha!

Oh FYI- I might get a couple facts wrong- but.. I heard that Livs Mother took her to an Aerosmith concert at a younger age.. and that’s when she told her “that’s your Father singing onstage”. And Liv and Steven began their daddy- daughter relationship, and going strong! Not sure if it’s true, but I definitely read an article that stated that- can you imagine?!!😯. ✌️

I always heard her mother was friends with the mother of Steven's children. And growing up Liv always wondered why she looked just like those kids. Down to the hair and lips. Lol Then she found out why, they all shared the same father.

I was a Marine serving a six year contract when this video came out. I could see this video enough. And my fellow male Marines were also drooling over these two hotties. They were just the hottest women we saw on TV. Or should I say MTV. Back when they played music videos constantly
