Man, you really had some trouble handling those 18 inches of Messmer the Impaler, Shenpai. This is TECHNICALLY not an innuendo. This is just a running gag in the community because the collector's edition trailer on YT advertised a Messmer figure you could get with the preorder, and the description on KZbin literally says "Treat yourself to 18 inches of Messmer the Impaler." And thus spawned a billion jokes and memes about Messmer and his foot-and-a-half Impaler.

The thing that I’ve noticed about Elden Ring and especially the dlc is that most of the enemy’s attacks are too quick to try to hit them twice in a row. Having a shield can be very helpful in most cases bc they allow you to counter attack enemies after tanking their attacks at the cost of stamina in place of health.
