Coming out cheap tells me 2 things about an opponent: he's an insecure fighter, also do not assume anything/ do not underestimate their lack of honor. If they win by some cheap maneuver they will never feel shame nor admit it was cheap. Because so many assume the opponent will be honorable sparring with someone including some dirty tactics from time to time may be warranted so youre not caught off guard by their next trick. Pulling down another fighters guard when their arms are tired (while not entirely dirty), using lace rubs, elbow rubs, sly headbutts or head placement to acheive 'accidental' headbutts, wrestling footwork, etc. BDC, i notice dirty fighting moves are not taught, probably with good intention, but have you considered an episode illustrating some dirty fighters/ tactics so fighters know what to look out for? Edit: as always love the hard work and super educational content of your videos!!

Modern Martial Artist, I would like to know about how boxers breath when stringing together combinations. It seems like it would be difficult to transfer power through the contracted abdomen and breath at the same time. I wonder why fighter’s don’t keep swinging as much as they could when they find the target but I am just imagining that it’s exhausting to rapid punch for long strings of strikes because the fighter can’t breath as much while striking rapid fire. Is there anything to this?
