LYRICS:
(Aesop)
Black is the color of the snow
Snacks in the cupboard by the stove
3-wicks clutter up his home
Deep-six whatever you know
Keep fit shoveling the coal
Keep silly putty on the funnies
Nail down the sum of what you own
Phone every someone that you owe
Cut your own hair in the sink
Change into something that you’d wear
If you were summoned to the throne
Do advanced math on the walls
Talk to your plants, tell ‘em something bad from the vaults
Try to split a lentil into threes
Visualize a future with your tabby in a broth
Make your own arrows, learn to throw an axe into a log
Get it casual as a cashew in the maw
Write a phone number with a magnum on your arm
One that when you call it someone answer but the aren’t there to talk
Black is the color of the snow
Cash in the cupboard by the stove
Free kicks clutter up his home
The dream is a ferry in the fog
Sheepskin buffering the cold
Sweet wind to carry you to god
Free brunch buffet on the boat
Real maple syrup is involved
Real shame peace is a theory not a law
Precipitation should be clear or not at all, but
Black is the color of the snow
Stash in the cupboard by the stove
Keepsakes clutter up his home
Cell death coming up the coast
Freedom ain’t a function it’s a mode
Throw a couple punches in the mirror
Punch up your approach, on some
“Are you talking to me” or a thumper out the coat?
Draw something savage on the back or the front or the both
A taunt for the fungus and the mold
Stomp around the room like a child
throw your fucking baba on the floor
Trauma down to ruin you inside
Body like a buoy in the tide
Vomit come shooting through his eyes
Brain in the pan, black is the color of the paint in the can
Remove all the tubes and the wires
Polish every tooth in your smile
Document the true and livin', not the irrefutably beguiled
Black is the color of the snow
Rats in the cupboard by the stove
Cheap tricks clutter up his home
The dream is a ferry in the fog
Queen-pin stuffing up his cones
Sweet wind to carry you to god
Least fit chumming up the moat
TV on clearance at the mall
Refreshing water disappear into mirage
Precipitation should be clear or not as all, but
(Nikki)
Stick out your tongue and taste it
Chase it with a dirty smile
Find beauty in the wasted
We gon' be here for awhile
Fall back, fall down
Wave your arms and legs around
We make them all the same but
Angels, they look different now
(Aesop)
O’ death, O’ death
Could ya please hold a moment, I am so in effect
In the red corner, black snow a notable threat
I’m in the blue corner, satin over solar event
Golden oval on the belt, granny floral on the trunks
Orange tiger on the robe, iron horseshoe in the glove
I ain’t foreign to the dance, I been up against the ropes
And refs, granted never while I’m humming “Let it Snow”
Let it snow, I thread a whole cyclone eye
In no time, zebra coat never not bone dry
Get it, I don’t wanna set the wrong tone
But I hear a bell ding, there another pawn go
Footwork dirty, a blur to the eye witness
Encourage a crowded theatre to curse at a fried Christmas
What plague add blood to the flakes
Something from another world, son, the water ain’t safe
And I step in the arena with a hundred one apes
Looking dead at the upheaval like it’s summer at the cape
I’m saying, nothing shake the mother of all hate
Like a plea to “hurry up I got another ball of snakes
On the schedule”, the principal of other pressing matters
Press the button get the present company Abracadabra’d
This ring is beach house, for critical beat downs
And free sno-cones between rounds
It go, cash only, ashes ashes
Bet the farm, Aes get the dark cloud active
Pay per view event live, prehistoric man fights
Visual analogy of profound baggage
For the folks in the back row
Stomping on the floor when the black snow Glass Joe
Thank you, y’all have a safe night
See you in the morn the forecast ain’t right

It seems like a majority of tracks on this album have this sort of two-part act to it for lack of a better term. Aggressive Stevens flow completely switches up once the police arrive - it is still distinctly the same track, it's all cohesive, but it feels like you've hit phase 2 of the bossfight. It's honestly brilliant. It makes each track feel really dynamic and contributes to the already high replayability of this album.

This song hit me hard. "Angels, they look different now..." Knowing several friends, from those who've been suicidal, to those who shut in, a group which i've been apart of and still am, though i still feel more functional than most. When close friends disappear, and it brings untraceable fear, of those we've loved, opposed, through the cracks of their wear. Their care set aside til it surrounded their life, and swallowed our empathy like pikes, in the rive of our strife, Strings attached to what was that we hung with our pride, and cut them to fall deeper, engrossed, addicted hide from the ride. I know it's not much, but these are the first lines i've written in a long time. this is THE best album i've heard since 3030, and i hope Aes keeps going for as long as he's inspired, because he is truly a master of his craft.

I had a friend like this. I named him "Humpty Dumpty". He made me reimagine the story behind the egg. I think it's a metaphor for malingerers, or covert narcissists. The kind of people who love to see the pain on your face, as they dangle over a precipice. They don't know how to feel loved, unless someone is grieving over them. Humpty knew he was an egg. A completely empty one, at that. He knew the last place on earth he belonged, was high on a wall. But how else was he going to summon the king's great horsemen? Even if they put him back together, he'd just jump straight off another god damn wall. He made me stop pitying _adults_ for their _choices._ And I learned that pity is a desaturated form of contempt, on the emotional color wheel. Save pity for people you hate. For stinky dopes like Humpty Dumpty. You can do a lot of good with a big heart like that. And you can waste all of it on an emotional black hole. Know your worth; you're the kind of person that spends precious energy helping people. It's excruciating, realizing that the person you're helping only wanted attention. It's tempting to leave everyone to drown; to keep your buoyancy to yourself. But keep on pushing like Sisyphus with a smile. The only reward you asked for, was the pleasure of seeing someone succeed. Don't stop asking for that. Bless people with high expectations. Also, long or short, an Aesop comment section is a great spot to share poetry. 👍👍 (I hope I didn't wildly misinterpret what you were getting at lol)

I only get one shot in the comments section. Hands down- my favorite song off this album. The last half when he's singing about trying not set the wrong tone trying to scare people about military intelligence- then it sounds he leans into how promising the future is when it's fully controlled. It's scary- and it pulls out the uncertainty of how we're controlled. But ITS is not a cult. Best song off the album- leaving us unsure of the future. 👏👏👏 Incredible!

So, I'll be honest, I was worried when I heard the first two singles - hear me out. With Mindful Solutionism, it's dope as hell but I thought the album was going to be super techy and gimmicky, like the song. It's a dope ass song but I couldn't see a whole album like that. Then, By the River had me thinking that he'd take a laid back approach and keep a slow, relaxing flow for the album. But then when Infinity Fill Goose Down dropped, my worries went away and, needless to say, the whole album is fucking great. The songs all make sense with the album as a whole 🔥

the four lines near the end of infinity fill goose down are sending me @@losxdescabezados you could be the lunker under pepper x i feel like professor Y, like why are all my friends depressed why's this party feel like when I walked back into Selmer's Pets in precious tears, like, "why are all my tetra dead, yet again" originally i thought it was a sad throwback to Tetra ("out of sorts, out of water, suicical tetra fish") but when you add the previous line "woke to a thousand years of the sauce-of-the-month in a bunker, yum" he's basically saying "I could never drop music and still eat the best rappers alive" there are so many layers here. sauce of the month is the current rappers, lunker is an angling term usually for the biggest catch, so you could be the biggest rapper, under pepper X (the hottest pepper in the world, by far) he feels like professor Y, which is one letter ahead of X, also a shout out to professor X from x-men, who is arguably the strongest mutant the next few lines arent as straight forward, but I think the party is the current music scene which he's saying is sad, but also just behind - both in terms of musicality as well as substance there is definitely a throwback to Tetra (2011), but I think he's saying "how is the current rap scene still where i was 12 years ago" or "I have at least 12 years of skill on top of modern rappers"

You are asking the only question one of honest intellect *could* ask when presented with a discovery of this scale. To be completely forthright, I think that if *you* don't know, then it's likely that nobody else alive can understand it. Probably not even Mandark. In a way, it's a moderately satisfactory solace. It's somehow of consolatory value to know that even the most precocious of great minds cannot fully contain the entire reality of what is occurring here. In that regard, I thank you for weighing in and wish you the utmost excellence in the results of your future experimentation. I do earnestly believe that by better understanding the methodology of Aesometric Resonance Theory, you will gain uncountable insights that will be sure to make it so Mandrake can never again prune your innovations from under your nose. You will surpass him with the sheer, unquantifiable magnitude of the unparalleled innovations that you will achieve on the very day that you come to grips with the knowledge on display here. A.R.T. is the way of the future. What he has provided for us here is the schematic for a whole new world of experimentation. This is his demonstration of a new method for carving-out esoteric discoveries - a comprehensive blueprint for assembling knowledge beyond the comprehension of ordinary present-day minds. This is the precursor to the New Science. Anywho... cheers, Dex. 'Best in your endeavors. Dee Dee yielding, I have very little doubt that you will be a forerunner in this budding field - I pray for your safety and success. P.S.: *MANDARK STINKS*

I could only wish I could be a fly on Aes' wall one day, watching him mozy about the house rapping about whatever he looks at. "2 flap jacks stacked high as towers but it doesn't take two planes to knock these powers so precious with that buttery guts of the maple making things so delicious and capable."
