My senior thesis class was about book publishing. The best thing my professor taught me: There is an entire marketing team behind each book cover; they are works of art made to be critiqued by the consumer. If you like a book and don't like the cover, the marketing team did not do their job. Also, I just love your book covers!! You really should have gone into book publishing.

i was about to sleep since it's 1 AM here already, but i couldn't refrain myself from watching this immediately 🤧 honestly, tending to a book for it to "look pretty" doesn't just mean beautifying them, but it is also a form of expression in which love and care could be conveyed 🖤 (when we love something so much, we want them to last longer with us - to feel that they're a part of us so... 🙌)

I judge books by their covers and wines by their labels. I don’t drink wine myself (oh the headaches 🤕, so not worth it) but whenever I choose one as a gift, I pick it by how the label looks. And usually my friends love my choices. The same goes for books (which I very much do read myself 😁) unless there’s a good reason (strong recommendation) I will always start by looking at the cover, then the blurb on the back. Love your videos. 🥰

I'm definitely going to look into What the Wind Knows. My mom is always looking for good time travel books, and that one sounds like it would be a great fit for her. Another book series I think you'd enjoy is Belinda Muriel's Timeslip series, which does include time travel but in a really endearing way.
