One of the first wrestlers I got into as a little kid in the early 90s. Now here I am an elder millennial and shedding a few tears over this guy's retirement, cause he was there almost my entire life and it's a huge sign of my youth being gone. Thank you Sting for a lifetime of memories ❤️👏

By far the best send off to this man's amazing 40+ year Career and I am so grateful to have been along for the journey. Now this man can rest peacefully and safe at the comfort of his home with his family where he absolutely most definitely earned and deserved. An thank you Darby Allin for pushing Sting to finish off his career on his own terms the way it should be, this probably wouldn't have happened without ur motivation and elevation on this man and of course with the likes of help from Tony Khan. Best of luck and well wishes for you and you're family STING. Much love!

They really did so damn well with this sendoff and celebration of him, the video packages too were phenomenal, crowd was absolutely electric and seeing them all stand on the stage to applaud him was so nice, that last shot of him and his sons was perfect, basically one last huddle with the three main personas he portrayed through his career 👏👏👏, amazing.

For all the issues I have with AEW, the fact that they did THIS for Steve Borden will stand as a landmark achievement as an organization. He went from having one of the saddest conclusions to a storied career to what’s probably his best run. And it was a joy to watch.

Amazing. 1988-2024 Is just numbers... that dash - in the center represented a life long career of bad assery that no one will ever be able to copy. Sting is the Man. I really appreciate AEW uploading this speical moment so everyone could witness this speech. Thank you for all these years Sting. Its a big part of my heart. WE will Miss you.

First started watching wrestling in early 1991, dad was flipping on TV and came across TBS and saw Clash of the Champions XIV. Seeing Sting and Luger vs. Doom and seeing how big and jacked everyone was opened my eyes to wrestling, everyone looked like superheroes to me. Sting caught my eye immediately with the blonde hair, jacked body, and face paint. Thank you Sting.

Thank you Sting, you mean so much to so many of us. I don't cry often but damn this had me rolling between just thinking back of his past and how long its been and how old we have all become. I can't remember what I did last week, but those Mondays in the 90's are still pretty clear and feels almost like yesterday. I'm really Glad AEW decided to post this and I hope at some point the actual match will be viewable by all. I myself didn't get to watch it because BR app is a joke and the PPV wouldn't work. Kinda bittersweet, couldn't afford PPV as a kid, now I'm an adult and can afford it and it doesn't work lol.
