Though you may not think it, beating an up and coming attacking side, unbeaten in 11, with one of the top coaches in the league, last suffered defeat in November, beat all our title rivals (Arsenal, City, and on league table & head to head evidence: Forest)… to go there and win, and win with a clean sheet, albeit riding our luck at times is for sure a statement! great game, great team, nice fans… wish you the best until the end of the season.

If you watch it back. Lewis Cook doesn't even argue with the ref on the penalty. So that kinda makes me think he did indeed clip him on the leg. And I can see the contact there, and at that speed, it doesn't take much to make you fall

It was a definite pen. Clear to see and not a single Bournemouth player disagreed. Yes, Bournemouth were a bit unlucky hitting the woodwork twice and your goal being ruled out for marginal offside, but putting the ball in the net is the name of the game and liverpool did it twice, fairly and squarely.

No one talks about the 3 yellow cards Macallister should have received, no one talks about the foul leading upto penalty, no one asks why we're the lines not shown for offside goal, very soft penalty but yes they is minimal contact

Because macca shouldn't have had 3 yellows, they did draw the lines and the foul leading up to the pen wasn't a foul. All this talk about about the pen yet it was a 2-0 win. It wasn't the pen that won Liverpool the game.

I think it was a penalty, but its exactly the same as the one not given to us at Brentford where Evanilison is touched and then trips himself. Why does VAR not even all this out. It would be easy to have a list of precedents and give the same decision each time.

Liverpool supporter here and was very tough game for us...2-0 suggests it was comfortable but thats misleading...on another day bournemouth would have scored from kick off with the semeyo shot and at least another couple on top...very good team bournemouth...

I've always said there's a difference between a fan and a supporter. I am a Cherries supporter, but I'm a fan of good football, and cricket, and rugby. There's so many self-righteous, and obnoxious fans out there it just annoys me. You can be happy with the win without being a dickhead ! We knew this was going to be a tough (as in TOUGH!!) game, and yeah - it was. I knew Salah was going to score, because that's what he does, and he did. Even Andoni said in the pre-game press conference he knew they were going to score. No surprise. He didn't mention Salah explicitly, but the guy is a legend for a reason. AFCB did themselves proud, no matter the result. What if's - like the 1st Chelsea game - so many chances but none in the net. I think our "tin-pot team" (credit for that name goes to that very bitter Forest fan from last week) showed that the guys mean business, every game. The ref was total fucking shit as expected, but what's new ? Penalty ??? Dubious at best and I've watched it 10 times. We also need to change the posts so they're angled and not round. That would have helped. Erm... other than that, great game. We lost, but I think we said we'd be happy with 4 points from the last 4 games and we got 7. And I just hope LFC now go on and win every single other game that isn't against us. You deserve it !
